Are those drugs?

We fell asleep on the beach chairs unporposely. I saw Gregg coming out of the sea, on the yacht and towards me, wanting to straggle me! So again, I woke up terrified. I looked at Derek, he was still asleep. My hands were shaking and I couldn't catch my breath, still. 

"Derek! Derek! Wake up please!" I was screaming, shaking him to wake up while I was crying a river.

"Miley what's wrong?" He woke up scared.

"Derek, I can't take it anymore!"

"What? What is it?" he asked in a worried yet scared tone. I cried even more. He held my head, placed it on his chest and hugged it tight. "Calm down baby and tell me what's going on with you lately". I took a deep breath and continued,

"Derek, I-I.... I killed a person" I said. 

"And...?". I looked at him with the "that's it" look. 

"Why aren't u surprised? Why aren't u yelling at me, telling me that I'm a bad person?!"

"Listen Miles, to tell u the truth, I've done that before, and not just once"

"What?"

"Yeah. I mean I had to. At some point, I thought that killing was the only answer to my problems"

"And doesn't that haunt u?"

"Not really. Well, it did haunt me on my first time, but I got over it. And so are u. Ur gonna get over it"

"How did u get over it?"

"Wait, I'll be right back" he said. I got worried. When he came back, he had a small box in his hand. He took a small plastic bag out of it and slowly spilled teeny tiny white pills out of it. "Here, have a couple", he continued.

"Are those drugs?"

"Listen,this is how I got over it, this is how I get over any problem of mine. It's the only way". He said. I grabbed a couple of pills and swallowed them with water. 

"There, now you'll feel much better. Now while waiting, tell me what happened"

"You know Gregg from third year?"

"Yeah?"

"He blackmailed me. He said that he kidnapped u and wanted a little something from me to release u. But I tricked him to tell me the truth. But I-I swear I wasn't gonna ddo anyhing!! Anyways, when I knew the truth, I-I did what I had to do and well, killed him"

"How can I be sure that u didn't do anything? That u didn't cheat on me?"

"Derek, W-what kind of questions is that?! I love u so so much and I would never do that! U have to believe me!" 

"I do believe u Miles, I know that ur not that type of girls".

"I'm not" I said and hugged him, he hugged me tight,

"Everything's gonna be alright, my love".
