MLBB university is a place for the extraordinary and gifted students where they can perform their talents and abilities and only a few are qualified to enter it. Every 4 quarters of the year, the students must attend the contest of dawn, an event where they can activate their powers and compete with other students. It is a battlefield where intelligence, strength, and teamwork is essential. Every win, they earn a point and the students with the highest points will be nominated as the school elites.

The students took their leave when they heard the bell rang. The time that they were all waiting for has come. Dismissal time. Alucard and his group packed up their things and prepared to leave the classroom. "Jeez.. The quiz wasn't that hard. I just ran out of time." Zilong muttered.

"Easy? Is that why you only finished half of it?" Lancelot teased. Zilong scoffed.

"I'll see you tomorrow, guys. I need to take Layla and Miya home." Alucard said as he pulled out his car keys from his pocket.

"Uhh, the disadvantages of having a girlfriend." Said Zilong.

"She's not my girlfriend you Idiot." He said then waved goodbye before leaving the classroom.

"I'll head out too. Odette needs a ride home." Lancelot said, hanging his bag to his shoulder. Hayabusa and Zilong nodded. "Later mates." He said then got out of the room.

Zilong looked at Hayabusa who was still packing his things. "Hey we have a practice today. Are you gonna come?" Zilong asked.

"No. Go ahead. I still have some things to do here." He answered. They nodded at each other before Zilong left Hayabusa.

He was the only one left when he finished packing intentionally. He stood up and clenched his fists before heading to the school exit. He stopped his tracks and took a deep breath. No one can be seen around except him.

"Who ever you are, show yourself or I'll have to hunt you down." He ordered as if he was talking to someone. Then a white haired girl stepped out of a wall and looked at him hesitantly. Hayabusa's eyes widened as he gasped at what he just saw.

"K-Kagura?" He stuttered, taking a few steps backwards. "What are you doing here?"

Kagura looked at his widening, shocked eyes then simply answered. "I'm a new student."

Hayabusa managed to pull himself together and spoke calmly. "Why were you following me earlier?" He asked. Since the first period he already knew someone was stalking him.

Ignoring the question, Kagura answered him with another question. "Why did you leave me?" Those words pierced Hayabusa's heart like spears. But he somehow managed not to show it. He paused for a moment, thinking on how to react to that. When he couldn't come up with a decent response, he just looked down. "We could have fixed it." Kagura added, her eyes became teary and her nose was turning a bit red.

"It was hopeless, Kagura." Hayabusa replied and then took a few steps forward, passing her by. When he was a meter behind her (they were not facing each other) He decided to speak. "I just wanted to forget you. So please, stop following me." He said coldly then left her completely.

A single drop of tear came out of Kagura's eye as she kept her sobbing as quiet as possible. She misses him dearly, she wants to hold and hug him. But she knows that's not gonna happen. Perhaps, the right thing to do is to go back to where she came from..

Clint entered the cafe and went straight to the staff room to change to his work uniform. He works part time in a cafe owned by Alucard and Layla's parents. After changing, he went to the counter and began working. Time passed by, Clint is serving orders for the customers, minding his own business. Everything was going fine until a red car stopped in front of the cafe. He saw it through the transparent glass wall.

"Here comes the witch." He mumbled as he saw Layla come out from the car. The girl opened the door and looked around, finding the best table for her. She chose a table for three far away from the counter. Clint proceeded his work.

Moments later, Layla took out her phone and began making a video call for someone. "Hey, Selena, Kim. I'm here at the Cafe, are you up for some drink?" she asked through her phone.

"Of course! Who refuses to a free food?" Kimmy said, Selena just giggled. "We'll be there in 30 minutes, okay?" They said then hung up. Layla then, glanced at the busy Clint. A smirk was formed in her face when she thought of an idea on how to mess with him. After a while, her two friends showed up at the cafe and sat with her.

Clint just finished serving an order when he was called by a female voice in the corner of the cafe. He looked at her and saw a smirking Layla, Serious Selena, and frowning Kimmy. He walked up to them with the menu. "May I take your orders?" he asked politely to them as he gave them the menu.

"I don't need that." Layla said as she tossed back the menu back to Clint. Luckily, he Caught it and didn't hit his face. "We own this place. I know what the foods are called." Layla added. Clint didn't answer and just carefully listened to the orders given by Layla.

When he was gone to prepare the meal that she asked, Layla moved to a position where she can make her plan succeed. Clint came back with a tray full of drinks and food, warm and ready to be consumed. As he was walking closer to the table, he felt someone tripped him, causing him and the food fall to the floor. He was on his knees and the food was splattered allover his face and body. He looked up, scowling to the only person who could have done it- Layla, and breathed deeply to control himself.

"What have you done? Serving a food is a one simple task!" Layla scolded.

"Layla, that's enough.." Selena jumped in, pulling her friend back.

"Are you okay?" Kimmy crouched down to Clint who was cleaning the floor with a rug. Clint didn't answer nor showed any reaction. He just continued his job and got back to the wardrobe to fix himself.

'If I don't need this job, I wouldn't need to keep up with this shit.' He thought to himself. No one supports him except himself. If he doesn't do this, he will not be able to continue studying. His mother is sick and is currently in the hospital. Aside from her health, the hospital bill is another thing for Clint to worry about. His father died as a soldier in a war and there are no relatives left to help them. He can only rely to himself.

He needs to be strong.

'That's why I have to be an elite and get that scholarship.' He thought..

A few hours later, His shift was over. It was getting dark and only few cars can be seen outside. He locked the doors of the cafe and walked to a post where his old, rusty bike is chained. He took his key, unlocked the chain and began to kick his way home.

Suddenly, in an abandoned street where he usually passed by, he saw a person standing in front of an abandoned building, looking directly at him. He fastened his pace as he was sensing danger.

"Hey." The person called. He had no choice but to stop in front of him or he will be easily chased. "I see you everyday going to that cafe. You're working there right?" the person asked. He was wearing a black hoodie and a mask so he could not recognize him.

"Yes. What do you need from me?" Clint boldly asked.

"If you need some real money, you can always come and work for us." The person said. "Working part time in a cafe isn't enough to pay a hospital bill, Clint." His eyes widened with that sentence. He knows him and his situation. How come?

"Who the fuck are you?" He asked, stepping out of his bike to stand face to face with the person.

"Calm down.. We are not enemies. Exept you want us to be." The person said pushing him slightly backwards. "You need us so you better watch your attitude, Cowboy. Come back here tomorrow at 9:00 pm and we'll discuss business. And I'm warning you. Don't expect this to be 'legal'. He said before walking out, laughing. Clint watched as he slowly disappeared from his sight.

If doing something against the law can save someone, is it still wicked? If this is the only way, will he be considered as a bad person?
