Chapter 2: Falling

My apartment was quiet. Cameron and Nash went to Wisconsin for a day or two. I didn't know when they were coming back. I really liked Nash. I don't know what it is about him, but he just makes me smile. I heard a knock on my door. Probably my landlord looking for money. I got out of the comfortable seat, and opened the door to see Nash. He didn't look very happy. "Are you ok?" I asked. He invited himself in and sat on the couch burying his face in his palms. I sat next to him and put my arm around him. He started to cry. "Nash...what's wrong?" I said. He looked up at me with puffy eyes and said "My parents were in a car wreck and Skylynn was with them too. I'm flying out to North Carolina to see them. They said Skylynn wasn't harmed but my parents were. I didn't get anymore than that. I was wondering if you could come with me? Cam is on tour and I really need someone with me." "Of course I will. I'm sorry to hear all this." I said. I wrapped my arms around him and he wrapped his around me. I could feel his tears soaking into my shirt. I held him until I knew he had stopped crying. "I'm here for you Nash, and I'm sure Cameron would be if he was here too." I said. He smiled and grabbed me by my neck and slowly leaned in for a kiss. Our lips crashed together. He released his grip and looked at me. "I'm so glad I met you, Makayla." He said. I smiled and kissed him again.

~at the airport~

Nash and I were waiting to board the plane. "Will everyone line up in order please!" The attendant called over the microphone. Nash and I got in line next to each other and waited patiently. We finally boarded the plane and sat in the middle. *ding* "Will everyone buckle their seat-belts please? We will be taking off in a few minutes." I clicked my seat-belt together. I looked over at Nash and he had headphones in staring at his phone. I nudged him and signaled the seat-belt. He clicked the seat-belt together and went back to his phone. My phone vibrated and I looked to see who had texted me.

Heaven: Hey, it's me heaven. I wanted to know if I could stay with you for a while. My boyfriend and I got into a huge fight and he dumped me. AND HE KICKED ME OUT! Like what a douche bag!

Me: Yeah, you can stay with me, buttt Cameron Dallas and Nash Grier live in the apartment RIGHT NEXT TO ME!

Heaven: OMG OMG OMG OMG! I'm dying! I'll get to meet Cameron Dallas!

Me: Yes, but you can't freak out when you move in with me ok?

Heaven: Ok! I'm so excited!

Nash looked at me and asked "Whos heaven?" "Oh she's my sister." I said. "She is absolutely in love with Cam. Haha." He giggled and said "Well Cam can have her, I want you." He said smiling. I blushed and looked out the window, I had my hand on the arm rest between me and Nash. I felt another hand grab mine. I looked over and Nash was holding my hand. I was so glad that I had met him, this was a dream come true for me. He looked up from his phone noticing that I was staring at him. "You like what you see huh? Haha." I giggled and said "Maybe I do, I'm so glad I met you Nash. I'm literally the happiest girl in the world." He smiled and said "That's what I'm here for. I'm glad I met you too." I laid my head on his shoulder still holding hands with him. The plane was taking off. Nash was still wrapped up in his phone. I couldn't stop thinking about maybe being able to be his girlfriend one day. *ding* "we will arrive at our destination in approximately 6 hours." Said the flight attendant. ~buzz~ my phone went off with another text, this time it was from Cameron.

Cam😜: Don't tell Nash I told you, but you're all he talks about! He really likes you.

Me: Awe!! I really like him to, and even though I don't talk about him much, he's always on my mind. Idc if you tell him 😂😜

I put my phone back in my pocket and fell asleep on Nash's shoulder.

I was woken up by Nash shaking me saying "Makayla, our flight is almost to North Carolina. Wake up." I woke up slowly looking out the window. "You were talking in your sleep." He said smiling. Oh my gosh. I'm so embarrassed! I hope I didn't say anything stupid! He laughed mockingly saying " I love you Nash, Nash is so hot, ok maybe I made that one up haha but you were saying that you loved me and you were mumbling a lot." I could feel my face get hot with embarrassment. "Don't worry, it was cute." He said. I have off a huge sigh of relief. I though he was going to say he was freaked out. "My mom texted me. She said her and dad were alright, but Skylynn, Hayes, and Will all want to see me. So we are going to stay in North Carolina for a few days, maybe a week." He said. I didn't mind staying with him, but where would I sleep. "That sounds like tons of fun, your parents don't mind if I come stay with you guys for a while? I don't want to intrude on family time, plus where am I going to sleep?" I asked. "My mom wants to meet you, so does the rest of my family. I was telling them how much of an awesome person you are and that I wanted them to meet you. They were pretty excited to hear. Haha, and don't worry about the sleeping arrangement. I'm sure there is enough room for the two of us on my bed." He said winking. I laughed and said ok.

We were here! Finally after a 6 hour flight, we were finally in North Carolina. We got off the plane and waited for our baggage at the claiming station. Nash found his first, then I saw mine coming my way. I picked it up and followed Nash to the eagerly waiting family outside. As soon as we walked out of the airport there were tons of girls screaming at Nash. We ran to the car Nash lead me to. We hopped in and I was greeted by smiling faces. "Gosh I missed you guys." Said Nash. "Who is that Nash?" Asked Skylynn. "This is my girlfriend Makayla." Said Nash. "Girlfriend?" I asked. "Yeah, I think it's time I finally stopped talking to my mirror and just ask you." Said Nash. I smiled and kissed Nash on the cheek. "She's hot!" Said Hayes. "Shut up Hayes! She's mine!" Yelled Nash. We all laughed and listened to music for the trip back to Nash's house.

"Well it's nice to meet you! Nash has told me that he really likes you, that your laid back and such a beautiful girl. I can tell he wasn't lying." Said Nash's mom. " Awe, Thank you!" I said. We arrived at Nash's house and Nash helped me carry in my things. He walked up the stairs to his bed room. "You gotta hit 20 pull ups before you come in here. Haha." He said making a reference to his protein spoof on YouTube. I giggled and set my things down. I flopped on his bed and threw my arms over my face. "I'm so tired!" I exclaimed. (It was at least 11pm in North Carolina by the time we got there) "Me too. I'm going to go say goodnight. I'll be back." He walked out the door and went down stairs. I rummaged through my suitcase a and grabbed a pair of sweat pants and a tank top to sleep in. I went into the bathroom and changed. I came back in to see Nash half asleep. I climbed in bed and slept next to the wall. I could feel him turn over and cuddle with me. He put his arm around me, which made me fall right to sleep.
