Room Arangments

We pulled up to Connor's Apartment complex and got out. I went to the trunk to get my bag and pulled it out of the car. He grabbed my hand and led me into the lobby and past the lady at the front desk. Giver her a slight nod he led me into the elevator and pressed the button for floor 3. "So how have you been these past years?" he said with a smile. "Good..." I lied. "Good." he was still smiling like a little boy on Christmas morning. It was adorable.

The elevator opened up to floor 3 and we got out and walked down the hall still hand in hand till we got to room C15. He pulled out his keys and and unlocked the door. I stepped in and it was bigger than I expected it to be. "Wow" was all I could say. "It's a work in progress I just moved in about a week ago so I'm still getting furniture. The rooms are all set up though for the most part..." he led me down the hall to what I was assuming was my new room "Here we are this is your room. My rooms the Next one over, if you need anything I'll be editing some of my videos. and with that he walked out of my room and I heard a door close next door. I sighed in frustration. I have a lot of unpacking to do. So I got to work and started to fold and hang clothes and soon enough I got into a rhythm and was done within the hour.

I was getting kinda hungry and looked at the time to see it was 7:39. I went over to Cons room and opened the door quietly so I hopefully wouldn't disturb him. He was at his desk watching an old video with sound canceling headphones so he didn't hear me come up behind him. I looked over his shoulder to see what the video was and saw it was a video of us when we were kids. Our parents video taped us putting on a play for them. Ahh memories...

"AWW WE WERE SOOO CUTE!!!!" I yelled loud enough so he could hear me. But I guess I yelled to loud cause he fell out of his chair. So of course being the friend I am I laughed at him till I was rolling on the ground practically crying... When Con fell out of his chair his head phones came off (Thank God they were wireless!!) so he picked them up and brushed himself off then walked over to me who was nearing the end if my laughing fit. "You almost done there?" he said with a smirk. "Ok" I breathed in a deep breath, "Ok I'm better now, but your face was priceless!!!" I said wiping away a tear.

He sighed a big long sigh. "Your never gonna let this go are you?" "NOPE!!!" I said with a chuckle. He helped me up onto my feet and we were standing eye to eye. I could feel his warm breath on my face. He caressed my cheek, "I'm so glad I have my best friend back..." he said softly.

My heart shattered... I forced a smile though "Me to..." I said with a fake yawn. I need to get out of the situation. "Hey why don't you get some sleep I have a big day planned for us tomorrow." "Ok. Night Con." "Night Ash"...

I went to bed hungry that night with tear stains on my pillow... I knew he would never want me I just didn't want to believe it... I silently cried myself to sleep that night. Hopefully tomorrow will be better...
