"Jae wtf are yo-" he put his hand over my mouth and told me to shut up. "I'll talk when we get out of here" his simple answer made me worry even more. Wtf was wrong with him? Some footsteps ran past us and Jae nodded. He grabbed my hand and ran the other way. I followed him but I still wanted answers.
We made it out of the woods but we were marked. That man could come and kill us both whenever he wanted to. I was scared, not for my own safety but for Jae's. I loved him and the fact that his dumb ass ran away scared me. I didn't want to loose him again. Even if it meant that I'd die for him.
"You scared me Jae. Please never run off like that EVER!" I looked him dead serious in the eyes. "Brian I'm sorry-" His voice cracked, he was so embarrassed but at least I got a chuckle out of it. "Look I'm not mad, I'm just frustrated and I've been so scared for you. For God's sake you could've gotten yourself killed" I rolled my eyes at him and hugged him. "Yes I know" he hugged me back and smiled at me. I felt happy, of course I was still mad but I couldn't help it. The boy's smile was so beautiful.
"Jae I have to tell you something.." I looked at the floor, I couldn't believe I was about to confess my love for Jae. "What?" Jae's voice sounded different and my confidence left me. "Actually never mind, I'm mad at you. You fucking idiot" I walked ahead of him, at least the two of us made it home safely even though I walked ahead.
