Mitchell's P.O.V

I open my eyes from a deep sleep, for some reason I slept in.

I throw the blankets over my legs and swing my legs over the bed.

I sit for a Minute and put my slippers on.

I walk down the stairs of my home as I smell pancakes cooking.

I smile.

"Daddy!" 2 year old Austin says running to me.

I pick him up and swing him around my head.

"Aww!" I say as I hold him on my hip he is in a laughing state and I smile more.

Walking into the kitchen I see Maria flip a pancake.

"Mourning honey" She says.

I lean in and kiss her.

Austin laughs.

I put Austin down and walk to the cabinets taking out three plates and lay them out for Maria.

A knock stops me from getting the forks.

I walk to my front door and open it.

Madison stands in the door and smiles at me, she walks in and hugs me.

"I missed you" Madison said to me.

I get confused.

"Where were you?"

I asked.

She looks at me like I lost my mind.

"I was in Toronto? Visiting family?" She said.

I just agree.

Before I close my door I look out and see my neighbor Steve moving his lawn, I see my friend who lives across the street pull into his driveway.

I turn around to walk into my house to see Austin dead by my feet, blood everywhere.

I scream.

Madison and Maria slowly come around the corner and look at Austin.

They laugh and smile slowly walking to me with a evil eye.

I scream and cry, running out of the house.

I turn to see My neighbor Steve tear into Maria's jugular with his teeth.

I scream in pain, and continue to run.

Just yesterday I was at the park laughing with Maria and Austin now... This.

Madison keeps walking towards me.

I look back again to find Austin,  Maria, And Steve Bite Madison's arm, neck, and shoulder.

Madison screams in pain and falls to the ground as Maria Austin and Steve start to... eat? her.

I stop. And look at them.

I look at my house.

It's in flames.

Car alarms start all of a sudden.

The sky turns black.

All lights shut off.

My family is gone.

And these monsters surround me.

Then I realize.
