How did it happen. How is it possible. I can see the world, but the world can't see me. I can hug someone and look into their eyes but they can't look into mine. This burden I bare sends me into isolation and numbness. After the events that forever changed my life unfolded so did I. I decided to write in this journal to keep me sane. It gets lonely. I hold hope that the doctors will still find the cure for me. I will have a normal life. I will find someone to hold who when they look into my eyes thats the only thing they have to do to communicate with me.

Brandon wanders aimlessly down the street with all the dainty shops. Dodging occasional pedestrians walking by for they can not see him.
Since people are blind to him clothes appear to be floating when he exhibits them so he does not prefer them. Some perks of the world's blindness to him is his freedom. Getting away with just about anything. If he wants something he takes it because how do you create a case against something you can't see or never knew existed. Brandon thinks people on earth are so vulnerable. If people can't see danger or have any idea of its presence then in their mind it doesn't exist.
Coming across a petite pastry shop Brandon's stomach growls. A bijou girl, early twenties, starts putting up the closed sign. As the last customer comes out the door he slips in before the door secures and beelines it too the enclosed glass exhibit containing mouth water goods. Looking back at the employee who put up the sign he notices her attention is now onto cleaning the big glass window that looks out onto the steel covered street. Slowly opening the sliding glass box he takes a slightly stale red velvet cupcake then closing the lid begins eating it. All of the sudden a sizable gasp comes from the window side of the shop.
Brandon slowly turns around bracing for the usual screaming and running away reaction that humans get when they see food magically floating in the air but is surprised to see the small girl covering her eyes. "Sir, are you ok?" the girl asks as she walks behind the counter and pulls out a apron from below it. Brandon looks around for the man she is talking to but doesn't see anyone. Again the girl repeats the question this time reaching out gesturing the apron towards Brandon. Brandon stares confused. "Sir, do I need to call someone? What is your name?" she says finally throwing the apron him. Catching it he stares dumbly at the girl.
"Do you mind putting that on for me?"
"Are you talking to me?" Brandon finally asks putting the apron on.
"Who else would I be talking too."
"You can see me? How?" Brandon ask dumbfounded then quickly starts getting self conscious shifting his weight back and forth. The girl looked at him then got an annoyed look on her face. "You one of those people aren't you? Who think they are invisible so they walk around not wearing anything and doing whatever they want convinced that nobody sees them." She says harshly to Brandon. Searching for an answer Brandon slowly starts walking towards her. "You shouldn't be able to see me nobody can. Wait, what do you mean other people. There are others who are invisible?" he ask his mind racing and trying to comprehend the idea that there might be others like him.
"Well I can see you and this is the third time in four months that someones has wondered in here naked claiming they thought they were invisible."
Just as she finished her sentence a short plump guy walks out from the kitchen into the room. "Who are you talking too Sam?" The fat man asks directing his eye's around the room then stopping when they get to Brandon. "Woah! How did you do that? I swear our technology keeps getting better and better nowadays" he says hurriedly walking over to Brandon.
The man starts touching Brandons shoulders and face. Brandon, still in shock, stays still. "Its like someone is standing here but you can't see them" the man says chuckling. "What?" Sam asks confused. "Do you not want me to call the cops?" She asks her co-worker.
"What? Why? Did you steal the thing? I hope not. Anyway its none of my business I'm clocked out so see you later!" He says as he heads toward the door. "Do you not see him?!" she ask annoyed. The man laughs. "Oh so its a him. And no I don't, isn't that the point? Ok bye now see you in the morning!" he says then leaves the shop and drives away.
Brandon finally gets that the man didn't even see him only the apron thinking it was some of the modern technology. "Told you nobody can see me. Well nobody except you apparently." He says to Sam. Sam does a double take on Brandon then as if her mind finally for the first time understood she goes white.
Brandon knew what was about to happen and watched as Sam slowly swayed back and forth and then finally running to the trash can at the end of the counter she threw up before fainting; collapsing to the group of the pastry shop leaving Brandon alone and shocked.
