Makoto Naegi woke up in an unfamiliar place. No, it was a familiar place alright. "Hope's Peak again?" He murmured under his breath. It was at that moment he noticed other people. Hajime Hinata, he recognised. But the other two? Nada. Hajime was starting to open his eyes, blinking several times before sitting up. "Where am I...?" He asked himself, before looking up at the building looming over him. "Oh, fantastic. This place." Makoto laughed unsteadily at this. Hajime turned to look at him. "Ah, at least I'm not alone."
"We have two strangers with us, too... A boy and a girl."
"Wonder who they are?"
It was at that time that the blonde girl awoke and stretched. However, seeing the sight in front of her, she froze. "No. No, no, no." She said. "Not Hope's Peak again. Shuichi, Shuichi, wake up!"
The slim, pale boy who was apparently called Shuichi opened one eye when he felt his friend frantically shake him awake. "What's wrong, Kaede?" He murmured. 'Kaede' pointed at the building wordlessly.
Shuichi froze too.
Becoming uncomfortable, Makoto decided to introduce himself. "We haven't met before. My name's Makoto Naegi."
"And I'm Hajime Hinata..."
The strangers looked at them oddly for a few seconds. "We know your names, we just heard them." Hajime added in an attempt to be helpful.
"Mmhmmm... Yep..."
"We have worse issues right now. Look where we are. Look at how it's changed! It doesn't feel safe!"
"It was never safe."
"True... But don't you feel like it's gotten more ominous?"
"I agree with that." Hajime stated. "The building looks eerie. Should we... Go in?"
Shuichi looked apprehensive. "But.... What if someone is planning on hurting us--"
"What if someone isn't?" Makoto eagerly interuppted. "Maybe we are supposed to go in."
The four of them sighed. They didn't know each other very well, but they had to agree and cooperate if they were to survive.
They all nodded.
On the count of three, the door was busted open.
