I stood there confused. She didnt say hi to me…maybe she didnt see me. I started walking to her but Jamarco grabbed my arm.

"dont you think her being here is kind of personal?"he asked

"what? you think shes here alone? theres no way"

"Naomi…she isnt with nobody else"

"…this is fully my concern"

I  waited until she was called back into the room. I put my ear on  the door and listened.

"Breonna, you arnt pregnant. it takes more than a day to you know, get it going anyways"

"when do i come back again and check?"

"try taking a pregnancy test frist. you want to get pregnant? what about college?"

"its not my choice. i mean yeah…of course I want a child"

I walked away and walked out of the office. Jamarco followed me. We got into the car and I sat there with my arms folded.

"whats wrong shorty"

"shes trying to get pregnant"

"on purpose?"

"yes"

"you sure?"

"im sure"

"you cant un-say something. and you're telling Nathan, of course?"

"of course"

"iight"

"go to the school"

"its saturday"

"which means that the GFT Club is there. I know one of the leaders. I need to get inside"

"alright"

We drove in silence to school. I knew there was something off about her, just not this. I didnt expect this at all.

I sighed and closed my eyes. Jamarco put his hand on my inner thigh.

"you good?"

"no. its always something"

"it will all end and get better. I promise"

We pulled up and walked to the double doors. I texted the girl I knew. She came and unlocked them, giving me the key to the office.

We went inside the guidence counselor office. I got on the computer and searched her named.

I wrote down the adress. We left in a hurry so we could be unseen. We got into the car and began the drive.

"Naomi"

"what?"

"dont you think this is a little too much?"

"no! im looking out for Nathan"

"what if he did this to me? Andre?"

"Andre lives next door and I threatened him with you"

"…well alright"

We began driving to a more small part of Cali. The house began to limp. The cars got less nice. The grass began to turn brown.

When we pulled up, it was a house that could fit in my downstairs. It was very small, and looked very unsanitary.

"i know we arnt the snobby types…but ew" i said under my breath

I got out and walked to the door. I knocked twice. I heard a lot of kids through the door. When the door opened, a young girl, older than me though, answered the door with a baby on her hip.
