Dear Yeri noona,
There are so many different angles that we can go from to start this letter because our relationship has always been unpredictable. There's so many memories to reminisce from and so many things we want to say. We guess the easiest way to start this off, is by saying this: Thank you.
Thank you for always keep an eye on us. You generally raised us when we were still a trainee. Believe it or not, we're still fighting over who is your fav dongsaeng.
Thank you for always teaching us that our mistakes were just lessons. You know that we're the type of person to make the same mistake numerous times until we finally realize that's not the right approach to what we were trying to do. You never judged us, you just gave us advice and helped us realize the error of our ways. Thank you for never being judgmental, just helpful.
Thank you for staying on the phone with us every time we were in school just so that we can cry and tell you how much we hated math, history, english of course and just school in general. You were probably going through your own stuff but you always had an open ear to listen to our problems. You never told us you were busy, you just told us that you were here to listen, thank you.
Thank you for the years of constant play and all the laughs we share. I don't think we've ever laughed as much as we do when we're with you. We find the stupidest things so funny which causes us to laugh for hours with no end. All the games we use to play; Mafia Game, hide-and-seek, teacher and when we would wrestle each other even though you always almost killed us, those are the games that I hope one day, our children will play together. One of my biggest hopes in life is for our children to go through the stage of constant fighting and then being attached to the hip like we have.
Thank you for being such a gamer!!!! We know that we don't play video games with you that much, but when we do, it's the greatest thing ever. When we played the classics like Crash Bash, Super Smash Brothers, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune, we always had such a blast and now, even though we don't play with you anymore, we still bond over the fact that we give commentary as we watch you play.
Lastly, we'd just like to thank you for just being you. When we were younger, all we did was fight, yell at each other and we would always tell on you for the stupidest things because you know, that's what we do. As time went on, we were still a nightmare to be around and even though we were, you helped us with so much. You became our second mother here at a very young age. You babysat us, warmed up our food and you always looked out for our well-being before your own. We were never the easiest person to get along with, nor were we the most open to listen to people because we were either rude, standoffish with you, or not expressive enough with the one person we should've been.
If we could choose to have any person as our big sister, we'd choose the sister we already have every time. You, being our big, or as you like to be called, our older sister, have been a blessing that we didn't ask for. Everything that has gone on in the past year helped us realize that throughout all our friends, you're the most important. We're so happy us have become so close. Even though we have our quarrels every now and again, we couldn't imagine not having you in our life. Through you, we were able to find a confidant, you. We're so grateful for you because we know when we tell you things, it stays between us. Thank you for keeping our secrets, thank you for being our friend, thank you for all the advice, thank you for all the laughs and tears and thank you for being the greatest sister ever. We love you so much.
