Chapter 3

Waking up in a completely strange place, Y/n jolted up. She didn't realize that when she did that, she was shoving her new friend, Alex, off of the sofa.

He hit the ground with a thud and a confused groan.

"Oh what the hell-" he began.

"OH My god I am SO sorry!" Y/n got up and tried to help him off the ground, but he was still half asleep and very ready to just go back to sleep completely. He pulled her extended hand down and she landed on top of him.

"Wh- what are you doing?" She laughed.

"Shhhhh. Lay. tired. Cuddle. Good night." he mumbled back.

Y/n laid on his chest for about 3 seconds, trying to gather her thoughts that were rushing round her head.

She got back up, shook her head at the boy that was now asleep on the floor, and walked to the kitchen. She opened 3 cupboards before finding his cups, and filled one with water.

As she drank her water, she leaned against the counter and checked her phone.

Will: I'm sorry

Will: pls answer me

Will: be safe.

Will: al told me ur with him

Will: love u see u tomorrow

Y/n: love u too. sorry bout yesterday. alex is nice.

Will is typing

That was fast.

Will: wink wink get to know him better hes single!

'Fuck off' she thought, leaving him on read.

The door opened and she heard another new voice.

"AL WHAT ARE YOU DOING ON THE FLOOR?" The voice shout-laughed.

Y/n peeked around the corner to see a new boy taking a video of Alex and trying to wake him up by putting his finger is his ear.

Alex swatted his hand away, waking up fully this time.

"Oi what ya doin on the floor idiot?" the new guy asked.

"oh- I fell asleep on the couch with- wait where Y/n? I cant have lost her-" Alex got up and looked around, seeing you peeking out of the kitchen.

"Who's Y/n? OH SHIT YOU HAD A GIRL OVER ALRIGHT FELLA!"

"Piss off it aint like that. George, this is Y/n," Alex began, bringing you out to the living room as you giggled.

"Y/n, this is George, my roommate. Hes a dick, ignore him."

"Pleasure to meet you, y/n," George said, taking your hand, shaking it.

"Didn't know this was a formal meeting," you said snickering a bit.

"Oh so shes sassy, ok." George said, letting your hand go.

"She's Wills cousin, mate. Of course she is," Alex said, laughing slightly.

"Oh yeah guess that makes sense. OH WAIT- why is she HERE then?"

"I had a temper tantrum last night- long story short, Alex gave me a place to sleep other than the street." You explained, looking down.

"Oh man, that is gold. Well youre free here whenever, I don't mind!" George offered.

"Oh I appreciate it but I don't think ill be storming out in the middle of the night again any time soon."

"Yeah but Al here seems to like ya so ya know, if you EVER wanna come over for ANY reason AT ALL-" George began explaining, winking every few words.

"OKAY MATE SHE GETS IT chill out!" Alex cut him off, making you and George laugh and you blush.

"Let's uh- get you home, yeah?" Alex scratched the back of his neck, looking towards you.

"Yeah- I need a shower." you agreed, putting the glass you previously drank from in the sink.

The two of you put your shoes on and Alex put his jacket on. You remembered that you still didn't have a damn jacket.

Alex did too.

He handed you his hoodie that you wore last night.

"Oh Alex I cant-" you were cut off.

"Keep it." He stated.

"Oh- are you uh- are you sure?" you blushed, thinking about keeping his hoodie and how good it smelled.

"Yeah, for sure." He said, smiling. "I need a tea, you wanna stop at the café on the way?"

"Yeah sure!" You said excitedly.

And off you went.
