Chapter 6

Waking up on the couch sucks. I mean, its not the first time ive done this but it is awful. My back kills. 

Sitting up, I check the time on my phone, seeing it's about 8 am. So my nap turned into the whole night. Super.

Getting up and stretching, I had a small flashback to the other night of Wills fight with me. I needed to get a job. Unlike him, I cannot be a creator of any kind- lack of talent. So, I guess today, I will be out and about looking for a job. Oh joy.

I walk out to the kitchen, looking at the coffee machine, glaring at it, thinking about the fact that- yes, it would be cheaper to make it here but it would be tastier to get it elsewhere. Aaaannndddd I'm already going out so.

Turning on my heels, I walk into my room and pick out some casual clothes and throw some mascara on. I walk to the bathroom, brush my teeth, and put my hair in a ponytail.

Walking into Will's room, he's already awake.

"Hey smelly," I greet him, leaning on this doorway.

"Fuck off," He responded, rubbing his eyes.

"Have you not slept yet?"

"Nah. Editing." He yawned deeply, then took another sip of some energy drink.

"Unhealthyyyy," I say in a singsong voice, walking out and grabbing my wallet.

"Don't caaarreee," he responds in the same tone.

"I'm goin out, get some rest, love you!" I walk out the door, hearing a quiet "love you too" from Will, and set out on my way.

First stop, coffee.

I put in my headphones, not Air pods fuck off, and turned on some music.

I walk with my head down a lot, which isn't a good idea.

Why?

Because as I'm nearing the coffee shop down the way, I rammed right into someone. (Oh my god if you read my imagines I literally use this too fucking much stop running into people pls)

"Oh son of a bitch-" I was ready to apologize.

"Y/n?"

I looked up and saw Alex. You ever been embarrassed and excited at the same time?

"Oh my god! Alex I'm so sorry!" I said, laughing a bit but still apologizing.

"Oh you're fine I wasn't watching where I was goin," He admitted.

Glad to know I'm not the only one.

"Oh me neither,"

"We shouldn't be allowed on the streets," He laughed.

"Alex!!!" Some perky brunette yelled from behind him, making him turn around.

"O-oh hi, Sophie." He greeted her, almost sounding disappointed.

"Whos your friend?" She asked, gesturing to me before intertwining her arm in Alex's. God she is so stunning.

Of course he has a girlfriend.

"Oh this is Y/n,-"

say your friend, say your best friend, say anything but-

"-Will's cousin."

Mother fucker.

"Oh hi! How are you? I'm Sophie!" She said, smiling. it's impossible for me to be mad at her just because I have the hots for her boyfriend.

Oh ok so now I'm admitting to myself that I like him? Once I see his arm in hers? SOLID FUCKING TIMING.

"Y/n? You ok?" Alex asked.

"O-oh yeah sorry, my mind is just- not- Hey, it was SO nice to meet you, I gotta get some coffee and then jpb hunt so I should get on with it- I'll see yous later." I said, making my way past them, talking while walking backwards and, yup, I really am shooting finger guns at them.

I turned around and walked into the shop, silently cursing myself for being so fucking stupid.

Of course I'd run into Y/n while walking to meet Sophie. As if my feelings weren't confused enough.

And of course I would say shes just Wills cousin.

And of COURSE Sophie would wrap her arm in mine.

I am screwed.

Watching Y/n walk backwards shooting stupid finger guns at us, I laughed lightly. She's so cute and doesn't even know it. How can she not know it-

"That was weird. She seems weird. Don't think I like her." Sophie said, nudging me to walk away.

"She's not weird. Shes really nice and very funny." I said, a little too defensively.

"Hm. Ok. Anyways-" Sophie began talking about mind numbing drama with her and her friends- I am slowly getting tired of hearing about who kissed who and who indirected who. At first it was fun to hear but now its just so-

"-And THEN Jackson fucking said to Kate-" Annoying.

I miss Y/n.

Weird.
