A few weeks had passed and it was getting closer to the end of October. That meant a holiday. Roger was excited, seeing as it would give him a break from all of the nasty comments he would receive everyday at school. He never really celebrated Halloween but if he did, he just sat and watched films with friends but mostly Dominique.
He got himself ready for the day, made his way to school and went to his morning registration class.
"Morning Mr. Deacon"
A few of the students greeted their teacher once in the classroom.Roger kept a casual, normal expression but as usual, his heart throbbed when he stepped into the class.
Like every morning, John asked the class how they were doing and chuckled and replied to some of the comments the students made before marking everyone's attendance. After a short while, John dismissed his students from the classroom and they all made their way to their first period. All except Roger.
"See you later"
The blonde smiled at John before leaving after recieving a nod and a smile from his teacher.
.............After Roger had attended all of his classes that day, he went straight to John's office, knocking on the door before his teacher looked up at him and gave him a small smile.
"Hello Mr. Taylor"
"Oh good, I'll be the teacher this time"
Roger laughed a little as they both walked together to the music room."Well I'm not a teacher in your eyes anymore" John chuckled.
"So I might as well call you Mr. Taylor since I'm just “John” to you"
The older man joked as the two of them entered the music room.Roger immediately sat at the piano stool.
"So...John" he smiled, mocking him.
"Could you play something for me?"
He asked as he got up from the piano stool to make room for John.He loved the way John played. He loved his fair skin, his deep, green eyes and his mousey brown hair...he loved everything about him.
John began to play gently and quietly.
"I missed you today.."
He admitted in a whisper, staring to blush.Roger blushed as he rested against the piano. It had only been a few months but he'd felt like he'd know him forever.
"Me too.."
He whispered back, sitting beside the older man.
"I've been wondering..what's the number to you place?""And why will you be needing my number?"
John smiled softly at him, looking into his blue eyes with his own warm ones as his fingers stopped moving on the keys."You know.."
Roger started, shyly putting his arm around John.
"So I could call you..to talk..probably in the middle of the night"
The blonde joked as John smiled and leaned a little closer, his pink blush returning to his cheeks."Is that so?.."
"Mm.." Roger hummed, resting his head in John's shoulder.
"I'm very tired...and I've got a lot of homework to do..and I'm feeling lazy as hell""Well you better get your cute self home if you're tired"
John chuckled."Help me" Roger said dramatically, pretending to be weak, their faces only a few inches away from eachother.
John playfully rolled his eyes and wrapped an arm around Roger's waist to "keep him up".
"What do you think would fully wake you up?"
He asked, whispering with occasional giggles."Anything Deaky...anythinggg"
He said, over exaggerating as he pretended to pass out, ending up resting his head in John's lap.He laughed and looked down into his baby blues.
"You were so shy a few days ago..now you're making nick names for me and sprawling yourself across my lap"
