7 Gown

I parked the car and ran towards Lisa who was cheering like a little girl.

"YOU DID IT!"

"YOU DIDN'T EVEN TALK TO ME THROUGH YOUR EARPIECE!"

"I HEARD THE CUTE GUY WAS THERE?!"

"HOW DID YOU CATCH HIM?!"

"DID HE R-"

"Where's Haeun?", i cut her off

"Sleeping"

"Alright. You go back to the apartment while i go to the commander", i walked away, not giving her a chance to speak

"YOU DIDN'T ANSWER MY QUESTIONS!", she yelled, but i ignored her

"Good job, my child", the commander smiled

I bowed

"You need to come with me on Saturday", he suddenly said

"Why sir?", i asked

"There's going to be a gathering between all sections at the head base. It's a dinner party- sort of thing. It'll be on 8pm", he answered

"Why me sir?", i asked

"We need to bring our best agents"

I nodded

"Get yourself a gown, make sure you'll have the spotlight", he smiled at me, a fatherly smile

"Yes sir", i smiled back

"People we have worked with before, and some people in the State Council will also be there"

I nodded in awe

"Until then, there's still 3 days. Those three days are you and Lisa's day offs. Rest"

I walked to the other building, 9th floor, room 5s, our apartment

I opened the door and saw Lisa there, eating alone.

"Hey! Want some?", she asked

"Nah..the tequila made my stomach mad", i answered

"Ok", she said, enjoying her ramen

"Oh, how was Haeun's first day of school?" I asked

"Great. She has a lot of friends"

"That's nice. I'll be taking her to school tomorrow, no actually, come with me", i said

"Why?"

"Help me find a gown"

"Got it", she smiled, showing that she was excited.

My alarm clock went off, dictating that it was 6am.

I sat up, zoned out for a bit, then got up.

I woke Haeun up who was sleeping on the bed beside mine.

While she was bathing, i cooked bacon and eggs.

It is currently 6:56am, and we just dropped Haeun off at school.

"TO THE MALL WE GO!", Lisa shouted, making me chuckle

"Ooohh, how about this one", Lisa asked, holding up a gown

"Too much"

"This one?"

"Too tacky"

"No, this one?"

"Too short"

"Omg it has to be this one!"

"Too showy"

"THIS ONE?"

"Too long"

"THIS ONE'S GOTTA BE IT!"

"That's a wedding dress"

"WHAT DO YOU WANT THEN?!", she bursted

"I want a simple, yet stands out the best, one", i answered calmly

We have been in here for 2 friggin hours, and we still haven't found the right one.

Lisa gasps as she tapped me on my forearm.

"That's the one!", she whispers as she pointed to a shop with a beautiful gown displayed at the front.

"Yep that's it, alright", i smiled

"Lez go!!!", Lisa dragged me out of the shop we were in, straight to the other

We successfully bought the gown, and every other thing i needed and went home since Haeun was still in school.

Tho, it cost half of a month allowance.
