Louis was sitting on his porch, taking in the sunlight. It was a nice day, complete with a little breeze so it wasn't too hot. He was comfortably reclining in one of his outside chairs on his porch. He hadn't been home for awhile to just sit and think, and now he needed to think more than ever.

He had lied to Harry. He couldn't help himself. He had thought the boy was so cute, so interesting, and he just wanted to seem more interesting. And Harry would definitely find out about the lie and Louis would have to quit his job to hide the embarrassment. Or switch to a schedule while Harry was at school, where Louis wouldn't be. He wouldn't be there because he didn't work at Cheshire; he wasn't even a drama teacher.

Did it count that he wanted to be a drama teacher? Probably not. He had gone off and lied to Harry about working at Cheshire, which was such an obvious lie if Harry dug into it, and then he had went on his facebook and added the make believe job to his profile and searched for Harry. Why? He had no clue why. He barely even remembered. After he got home, he had noticed that he had four beers he hadn't drank in his fridge, and he took the opportunity to get so wasted until he woke up, unsure of all that happened that night and with a massive hangover.

What Louis should have thought about was how he was going to hide his lie from his employer's son. What he was thinking of, although, was his employer's son. Louis had enjoyed being with Harry. Harry had this charismatic charm that Louis found attractive and envied at the same time. He liked talking about himself and Louis liked that. Hell, he enjoyed not having the spotlight on him. Harry was interesting and honest, and it was kind of fun just listening to his remarks about everything Louis brought up.

What was Louis going to do though? And then it hit him. He was always someone to come up with schemes. Back in high school he was always the guy who picked up all his friends after midnight and they would sneak out to clubs they were too young for with fake ID's he had gotten for them. Where had his friends gone? All off to college, out of the country, and Louis had stayed to be a gardener and bartender.

Back to Louis' scheme. It really was a long shot, and he hoped that he could get away with it. He went inside and sat down at his computer desk, quickly logging into facebook. There were no notifications or messages. Why would there be? He could post anything and no one would care. So the first thing he did was go to edit his profile. He removed 'drama teacher' from his info, and then went to write a status.

Just got laid off. :( Oh well, I didn't make that much money anyways, ha,” he typed, before hitting 'update'. A normal person would expect a few “what happened?” comments, but Louis expected none. At least now he had some kind of proof, as flimsy as it was, to convince Harry that he wasn't a drama teacher. It wasn't his best plan, but it would have to do.

Almost immediately there was a notification. Louis clicked on it. Harry Styles has commented on your status. His heart started beating quickly. Why? It was just a comment.

“IM me,” Harry had commented. And then, for good measure Louis supposed, he had left a second comment. “I wanna know what happened.”

Louis hesitated messaging the boy. He really didn't want to right then. He kind of just wanted to lay down and go back to bed. Besides, he hadn't formulated the plan all the way. Why was he laid off? How did he explain it to Harry? Would Harry believe him?
