*Killian POV*

I sat at the lunch table inside the cafeteria. Everyone was buzzing about the transfer students coming, though I don't understand what's so exciting about it. "I hope at least one of them's a girl!" One of my buddies, Andy, said to my left.

Andy was the most spontaneous one in our group. He was also the one who kept the mood up during bad times. His fiery red hair and bright blue eyes also made him the center of attention at almost all times. "Me too, these girls are all startn' to look the same to me," Another agreed, who was sitting across from me, Troy.

Troy was the kinda guy who'd go to a party, then wake up somewhere in Mexico. To say the least, he was a complete party animal, and he had the bleached hair to prove it.

"What's wrong with the girls here?" Rick questioned.

I'd say out of all of us, Rick was the softest. A lot of the girls tend to call him a teddy bear, thanks to his curly brown hair and dark brown eyes. He did basically have the soul of a saint in my opinion. "They've all got flat personalities," Haruto chimed in, his voice as monotone as usual.

Haruto transferred from Japan when we were eight, since then we've kinda dragged him down with us, though he's never said a single word of complaint. He's the most calm out of us all, and sometimes I feel like he's a mastermind behind some kind of giant plan that none of us are aware of. But, I know he's got our back too, he's shown us that enough times before to have my, and everyone else's, trust.

I felt a shove to my shoulder and saw it was from Andy. "Dude! Show some enthusiasm!"

"Yeah, man! You can't drone over Jess forever! Time to move on!" Troy added.

I sighed, "It's not that easy."

"C'mon. It's been two months since you broke up," Troy said with half lidded eyes.

"Hey!" Andy suddenly exclaimed, "I have an idea!"

Oh no, this can't be good. The last time Andy came up with an idea I had to live with my grandparents for three months while they fixed the house. "How about you date the new girl!"

"Andy, we don't even know if either of them are gonna be a chick or not," Troy grumbled.

"She's a girl, well, one of them is," Haruto spoke, gaining all of our attention.

"How do you know?" Troy asked.

Haruto merely smirked, "I have my ways. She'll move here by the weekend and start school by next Thursday."

None of us questioned how he got all that information. We weren't even sure if we wanted to know. All we knew was that whatever Haruto said, it was true. So apparently one of these transfer kids was definitely going to be a girl. "Good! So Killian can date her!" Andy somehow concluded.

"And why?" I finally asked.

"Dude, you need to stop moping." Troy pointed a finger in my face accusingly, "The best way to get over a girl is to get a new one!"

"Somehow I find a flaw in your logic," I said before going back to my burger.

"Oh come on, at least give it a try! Please! Please! Please! Please!" Andy whined in my face.

"You know we aren't going to stop until you agree, right?" Troy said, a grin clear on his face, showing that he knew he already won the battle.

I knew them, and he was right. I couldn't hold out against them and their complaining. I tried once but after hearing a thousand 'please's, five hundred text messages, and forty calls at one in the morning, I caved in. "Ugh, fine!" I groaned.

"I heard the sound of someone's soul dying, who is it!" A familiar voice spoke, coming over to us.

It was Troy's sister, Kate. Kate was...spunky, and a little sadistic. I felt her rest her hands on my shoulders, "Awe, is Kill still mourning over the hoe?"

"She had a name you know," Troy chuckled out.

"Like I'm about to go out of my way to remember someone like that." She switched the position of her hands, laying her forearms on me, "You're better off without that one. You should go after someone classy. I'm telling you, older woman are the key."

"Kate, don't give my friend romance advice, it's weird," Troy complained.

"Oh shut up, I've been with more girls than him, plus, I am a girl! I have knowledge that I must share with the ignorant!" Throughout her speech she continued to grow louder, thus drawing the eyes of many around us.

"Would you mind keeping your knowledge down a little?" I questioned, wondering why I'm still friends with these people.
