Mute Laurana (Loki x reader)

SHIELD alert...

Y/N's P.O.V:

I'm in a SHIELD facility working on SHIELD weapons and planes. I'm mute so I don't talk, at all. But I'm a Laurana, so I have my magic. I haven't a clue who my parents are, since I have never seen them. But I have SHIELD, so I'm okay with that.

I suddenly hear Nick Fury through my ear piece, saying I must make my way to the lab immediately. I teleport myself to the lab and see that the tesseract is spiking again and give Nick a quizzical look. (What's happening, how can I help?) I ask in his mind. "The tesseract is misbehaving, I need you to protect the scientists at all cost." He explains. I give him a terrified look. I'm not comfortable with hurting others, but will not hesitate if someone hurts my family, which is SHIELD. I nod slowly and turn back to the tesseract. To my horror I see the cube shoot out a portal, which leaves a strange looking fellow standing in the circle. I give him a side-look in confusion. Who the hell is that and what is he thinking it keeps hanging in my head, sadly I can't speak so he can't hear it. My hands glow a soft and dim light as I use my energy to create a ball of magic. Luckily the creep doesn't look at me, but at Nick. "Sir, please drop the spear?" Nick asks. Only an idiot would ask such a thing I complain in my head. I feel someone poke in my head and try to push it out, which works immediately. I use my magic to protect Nick and Clint when the fellow shoots at them. His attention then goes to me, making me freeze in my spot. I quickly stand in my defense position and transport my energy to my hands. He grins at me and shoots at me. I use my magic to shield myself and block the blast. It freezes in mid-air, right where my shield is. I use my energy to push the blast back to the man, who was caught by surprise. His mind seemed as easy as reading a book, and I could practically hear all his thoughts. I could hear that he seems interested in my abilities and wants to collect me, or something. (Not happening) I say in his mind. He looks at me, totally surprised. I roll my eyes and say in his mind: (Welcome to the world of magic moron). He seemed a little angered by the nickname I gave him, and if I had a voice I would've giggled. His attention soon turned to Clint as he used his scepter to take control of him. I roll my eyes and sigh soundlessly. After he has full control of Clint he turns back to Nick, not without giving me a smirk. I could only hear the words "I am Loki, of Asgard", the other words I didn't pay any heed to. I teleport myself to Maria Hill and help her with placing some stuff into the cars. After a few minutes I see the so called "Loki" walking towards us together with Clint and Selvic. (Maria he's dangerous. He is manipulating Clint and Selvic. And it looks like he got the tesseract) I explain to Maria in her mind. She gives me an absent nod and shoots at Clint, but he was faster and we barely dodged his attack in time. Nick warns us Loki has the tesseract and that Clint has turned. (Great planning Nick, couldn't he have warned us a few minutes ago?) I complain in Maria's mind. She chuckles and jumps in a Jeep, which I copy immediately. She follows Loki's vehicle, but takes a shortcut so we ended up in front of his car. She hits the brakes and turns the vehicle, so that the nose of ours bumps into theirs. I use my magic to try and break the connection between Clint and Selvic's minds from Loki's, but find I cannot since the energy is foreign to me. I shield Maria when Clint starts shooting at her. The ground above us starts to crumble, which gives Clint the opportunity to escape.

We barely survived the damage of the ,now broken, portal created. Nick is talking with Maria and Phil Coulson about what to do. I grin softly, knowing we are going to do exactly what I hoped they would do. Call the Avengers. After a few hours me and Maria enter the SHIELD helicarrier. Nick, surprisingly, asked me to stay in the bridge, waiting for Tony Stark (Iron Man), Natasha Romanoff (Black Widow and a SHIELD agent), Steve Rogers (Captain America) and Bruce Banner (The Hulk). It didn't take that long for Natasha, Steve and Bruce to arrive. Natasha gives me a hug, while the others introduces  themselves. "Hello ma'am I'm Steve Rogers, but call me Steve." Steve says. (Pleasure to meet you Steve. I'm Y/N, and I'm mute. Don't worry I'm using my magic to speak inside your head) I explain shyly. He nods, a little dumbstruck. "And I'm Bruce Banner." Bruce says. (I'm Y/N. I can't talk myself, but I can through my mind magic. So don't worry, it's all in your head.) I explain shyly. He seems surprised and I quickly say: (I'm a Laurana) He nods and Natasha brings him to the lab. Not to long after someone says they found Loki. In Stuttgart. Nick tells Nat and Steve to go. I walk out of the Bridge until Nick says: "Agent L/N you can go with them." I nod and run after them. I use my magic to turn my clothes into my suit.
