Namjoon and Jimin stare in silence at the omegas words.
"What do you mean?" jimin asked softly, the weight of his words being almost too much. Tae shrugged from where he lay in the bed, "I'm not sure. He just said to tell Jungkook that, then we began walking. Yoongi tried hitching us a ride with a random car that drove past, but the guy tried touching us so yoongi scratched him and we simply walked the rest of the way. Or rather, yoongi carried me." Taes voice was low and heavy. Guilt weighed him down. Even injured beyond life, Yoongi still put his friends before himself, it was almost stupid how selfless the omega was. But that was just Yoongi.
"You say he killed Alpha Jun?" namjoon asked, "then what else could happen?". The tension in the room became sickening, so much so that Jimin went and sat by the open window in a desperate attempt to breathe.
"W-well I think Juns dead, its not like we checked his pulse or anything. The attack yoongi gave him though," tae paused, "I can't see how anybody could survive that."
The room fell silent once again. There were no words. Everyone struck with fear.
"A-anyways, hows everyone been? Update me on all I missed"
Jimin and Namjoon smiled, they missed their bubbly Tae.

It's been hours. How many exactly Jungkook could only guess, he hasn't been paying any attention to time. He has sat outside the clinic, staring at the door that led to his mate. Jungkook ignored everyone else around him. He wasn't trying to be rude, he just couldn't speak. His mind didn't have words to share as they were only flooded with the painful thoughts of what his love might be going through.
A nurse finally walked out, the same nurse as before. She was just as cautious too, the alpha seemed even more timid.
"How is he?"
It broke her heart to hear the alpha speak so brokenly. His voice was beyond soft, it was like a cloud. A simple gust of wind and it'd be blown away.
"He's okay. We've fixed the majority of the issues he had, and once taehyung becomes stable himself he can then heal the remaining injuries." She smiled.
"Injuries?" Jungkook had bags under his eyes, not from staying awake, sure he's been asleep himself for two whole weeks, no, the bags were from crying. Something he rarely did.
"Yes, he has two broken ribs and his ankle was hurt pretty bad. His left arm is also broken not to mention the mass hematoma across his body" the nurse answered quietly.
"O-Okay..." was all the alpha could say. What more was there? He failed his mate again. Maybe he didn't deserve to be yoongis mate. Maybe the omega deserved better than him.
"You can sit in with him if you'd like? The anaesthetic should wear off in about 2 hours, he will be in some pain but we have painkillers for him" she reassured the alpha with the soft touch on his arm, "he'll be okay. Just some cuts and bruises. The important thing is to be there for him. Physically, he'll live. Mentally... only time will tell"
Jungkook nodded and thanked the nurse before walking towards the clinic door. His footsteps echoed across the room, yet he didn't care. It took all his restraint to keep himself from barging into the room and holding his mate closely.
There he was.
Yoongi. His tiny body appeared even smaller against the massive medical bed in which he lay. Wires and machines plugged into various parts of the boy. Oxygen for his lungs, a monitor for his heart, an IV for his pain.
It broke Jungkook. Anything he held within, any shred of emotion he had tucked away inside flooded out. He fell to his knees before the bed, his head fell heavy and had to be held up by his own hands. He clutched and pulled at his hair, he couldn't even see as the tears blocked his view of everything.
