Qin Zhongxin watched as Little Zhuqin soundlessly cried to herself. Carefully going into her room, the young girl shot her head up and immediately, her tears stopped streaming. Miraculously, her face was not red either and her eyes? They looked as if the child did not even cry a tad bit.

"Zhong ge (Brother Zhong) ٩(●ᴗ●)۶ !" Little Zhuqin cheerfully began. "Ni zenme lai le (Why have you come)?"

She quickly stood from kneeling just as Zhongxin reached her.

The boy remarked, "Just now were you..."

The young girl looked at him while she held onto the lacquer box. Little Zhuqin...to say, she looked too oblivious and innocent to ask if she was indeed crying earlier. Her eyes and big grin told Zhongxin that even if he asked...she would still deny it.

But still...

"Were you crying just now?" The lad continued to question.

"Meiyou a (No) (⊙ꇴ⊙)," Little Zhuqin hastily replied with the same joyful smile.

"But you," "Did you drink something weird?" The young girl abruptly interrupted Zhongxin.

She got on her tippy toes and slightly flicked the lad's forehead with her index finger.

With a giggle, Little Zhuqin reassured, "Don't worry, I was not crying."

"...Then you were..."

The young girl held up the lacquer box with the two bells and the red ribbon.

"Here," She began. "Aren't they beautiful (⊙ᗜ⊙)?"

Zhongxin grabbed the box as the little girl directly handed it to his hand. He observed the ornaments for a moment. A few minutes in, he nodded his head in agreement to the natural beauty of such special gifts from the two young boys of Yunmeng.

"You know? I really miss them," Little Zhuqin honestly said and let out a short breath like sigh.

Zhongxin asked, "Them?"

The young girl happily responded, "My two friends from Yunmeng (๑>ᴗ<๑)!"

"Are they the ones who gave you these?"

"Dangren a, tamen shibushi hen hao ma (Of course, aren't they nice) o(^▽^)o?" Little Zhuqin questioned with a grin.

It was and should have only been natural for Zhongxin to silently keep to himself and...well, think about how to kill Little Zhuqin upon his mother's orders. But...just somehow...the young boy had ideas of his own.

Ideas of his own?

"Be careful," He began, his voice sounding plain and a bit strict.

"Ah?"

"I said be careful. You might not know if these things have secret weapon in them or not," Zhongxin suddenly informed.

Little Zhuqin was a little surprised to hear such detailed thoughts from the elder lad and slightly raised her left eyebrow in respond to his warning. She believed there was no way for Jiang Cheng and Wei Ying to hate her for no apparent reason. She also believed there was no way the beautiful gifts would hold such deadly weapons either.

Unless...unless?

"Zhong ge, are you..." The young girl began with a glint of suspicion in her little eyes.
