Count On Me

Zayn's POV

"Now tell me, which of you are single now?" the interviewer asks the dreaded question. We all glance at each other, waiting for someone to answer. "Okay, I'll ask again and you guys don't act weird. Which of you are single?" he asks again.

"Ian, I'll have to answer for everyone I guess." Liam says. "I think that our silence answered your question. None of us are currently single."

We all hang our heads in silence scared of what was going to come from this.

"Well, Louis you're dating Eleanor right?"

"That is correct." Louis says.

"And Liam's with Danielle." he states instead of asking.

"Also correct." Liam says nodding.

"Harry you are still with that Shai girl?" Ian asks amazed.

"Yes, and very happy." Harry answers, a smile appearing on his face.

"Now. Niall and Zayn. This is some news to us all. But you're coming clean now?" well no turning back now.

"Yes we might as well. Zayn and I are both in relationships with wonderful girls." Niall says and I'm still silent.

"Who are these mystery girls?"

"Some things don't need to be broadcast on the radio do they?" Liam asks nicely.

"Well the fans deserve to know don't they? I'm sorry, your Directioners." Ian says trying to get to us.

"Our Directioners are our world you can't deny that. But not everyone has to know every little detail about our lives." Louis says.

"Do you think that they will be happy with that answer?"

"Our true Directioners will stay with us through everything. The true ones are all we need. We're sorry that we aren't saying anything more but sometimes we need privacy." Niall says.

"Zayn you're awfully quiet. What's going on in your head?" Ian was starting to get annoying.

"Honestly? I would tell you guys, I would. But out of respect for my girlfriend and her family, I'm not going to. Life in the spotlight is tough and she doesn't need that." I say.

"Wow. This does make sense guys. You all need your privacy and you want to protect your girlfriends. Maybe we will find out more about them soon. Eh? Anyway, thank you One Direction for coming in today and talking to us!" he says and they stop recording. All of us are now in somewhat of a bad mood, so we quickly leave.

Niall's POV

Zayn and I sit silent both staring at the ground. Liam, Louis, and Harry had gone to meet Paul and get our food. Hotel life was the worst.

None of us had gone on Twitter since our interview was released yesterday. We were all scared.

What if the fans hated us now? What if they had found out who Kaitlyn and Sarah were? They could do that. Easily. Somehow with their dark magic.. They might as well be the FBI.

"I'm gonna do it. I'm logging on." Zayn says and I look up at him.

"Really?" I ask surprised.

"I need to know." he says and grabs his laptop. I sit and watch as he logs in. I was nervous.

"What's going on?" I ask and he looks up.

"Shai, Danielle, and Eleanor. They all tweeted the same thing. At the same time. It says, "Please respect the boys and let them be. You love them right?" do you believe that?" Zayn asks amazed.
