A/N: I wrote this back in 7th grade. I found it in my old notebook and I think its actually good. There's another part to it, but Ill be posting it right after so no wait. :)

I wait on the couch for Ethan to pick me up so we can go to a movie tonight. I get a sudden call from Tyler.

"Hey, Ty. What's up?" I ask, wondering why he would call at this time.

"Have you noticed Ethan acting strange lately?" I think about it for a while. I've noticed his jokes have had a certain dark and violent undertone to them.

"I'm not sure, but he seems a little different. Maybe he's catching on to my humor?" My doorbell rings. Knowing it's Ethan, I hurry to end the call. "I'll see tonight, we're going to go see a horror movie." I walk towards the door.

"Ok, just be careful."

"I'll be fine." I hang up the phone and open the door.

"Hey, Ash!"

"Hey, E!" We share a quick hug.

"You ready to go?" he asks. He looks a bit tired and has a... twitch in his eye? Maybe he hasn't gotten enough sleep lately.

"Hell yeah, onward my trusty steed!" I yell as I hop on his back.

Throughout the movie, I noticed his eyes on me. Soon enough, he had his arm around my shoulders. I didn't think much of it since I was pretty tense. It was a horror movie, after all, but even then he seemed nervous. We drove to his house and he asked if I wanted to have a sleepover. As a grown adult, I agreed immediately. He lent me some clothes and I went into the bathroom to change. When I opened the door, Ethan was just standing there, looking at me.

"Hey, nice try. You can't scare me." He shakes his head like he had zoned out on the door.

"Sorry, I... don't know what came over me." We pulled out monopoly and ordered a pizza. Halfway through the game, he excused himself.

"He's been gone for almost ten minutes," I say to myself. I'm gonna see if he's okay. I get up from the floor and walk into the hallway. "E? Where are you?"

I knock on the bathroom door. There's no answer so I open it. He isn't in there, but there's blood on the counter. I hear groans from his bedroom. I walk over to the door.

"Are you okay?" More groans. " I'm gonna open the door..." I say, putting my hand on the doorknob and slowly opening the door. "Oh," I gasp. Looking inside, I see Ethan sitting on the floor, legs pulled up to his chest. "What's wrong?" He looks up at me, his nose bleeding and a strange blue colored liquid dripping out of his eyes like tears.

"Ash, what's happening to me?" His voice is so heartbroken and terrified. I run to grab an ice pack and tissues. I come back and kneel down next to him.

"It's s going to be okay, honey," I whisper quickly. Realizing what I said, I blush. I see him hiding his face. "I mean." He shows a small smile as he lifts up his face, his cheeks a light red color. I put the ice pack on his nose, pulling up his hand to hold it in place. I wipe off the water like liquid from his eyes. After cleaning up, I hug him. We sit on his bed and talk for a while, calming down.
