As per usual, the class was bustling with noise. Everyone talking about how they were recognized on their way to school. Many were proud and excited at the recognition, some embarrassed.
Sliding open the door, their teacher enters the classroom. His footsteps urging for them to be silent. Everyone had quickly sat in their seats, waiting for the instructions for today.
"Morning."
"Good morning!"
While Aizawa slowly makes his way up to the front, Tsuyu takes notice of his teacher's lack of bandages. Though surprised at his quick recovery, she comments at this fact.
"You're out of your bandages. I'm glad."
"The old lady went crazy with her treatment. More importantly, we're having a special hero informatics class today."
Everyone sat in their seat anxiously, expecting for a quiz, or test. All praying that it would be neither.
"Code names. You'll be deciding your hero names."
"We're going to be doing something exciting!"
The noise seemed to have pissed off their teacher. His eyes flashing red and his hair floating, the class settles down in less than a second.
"We'll also be having a new student today as many of you have heard. Please come in."
After these words, the door slides open, revealing the familiar mint-haired girl. Seeing her in her uniform was definitely new, and her usual bob was styled in a half-updo.
"Hello. I'm (Y/n) (L/n). Hope we get along this year!" you say with a smile.
'Here she is!'
"You'll be taking a seat in the back." Mr. Aizawa informs.
Awkwardly, you walk to your seat, feeling everyone's eyes on you. Your head spins, feeling anxious from all the attention.
You accidentally make eye contact with Shoto, and once you do, you immediately look away. It took all your willpower to make it to your seat without doing something weird. Focusing on your breathing, you finally make it to your seat with a heavy sigh.
Finally!
You start to space out at Aizawa's small lecture. Not really concerned with whatever was going on. Every once in a while, you tune into it just to get a gist of what was going on. Upon hearing that you had to come up with hero names, you frown.
Many of your new peers had gone up to the front to share their codenames, however, you only zoned out. While staring at your board, you sigh out loud.
I don't want to do this shit.
Getting bored with this class, one particular student catches your eye.
"King Explosion Murder."
Bakugo growls his codename and upon this, you snort loudly. He looked very angry, as per usual. His crimson eyes dart over to you. His face formed into a scowl.
"WHAT THE HELL YOU LAUGHIN' AT, MINTY?!"
"You obviously."
"HAH?! YOU THINK THIS IS A JOKE?! I'LL FIGHT YOU RIGHT HERE BITCH."
"How could I not? Your name is heckin' stupid. What kind of hero puts murder in their name? Pretty ironic for a worker of justice, don't ya' think?"
"She's right. You shouldn't use something like that."
"WHY NOT?!"
"You should be "Explosion Boy"!"
"SHUT UP, SHITTY HAIR!"
Class continues and suddenly you hear your name. Remembering that you haven't come up with a name yet, you sigh and quickly write down a random star name on the board and walk up to the front.
Let's just get this over with.
Standing at the front, the English written on your board is shown clearly to the rest of the class.
"Pollux?" Midnight questions. You simply shrug. "I don't have anything that I can think of right now and I don't want to use my name, so here is a rando star that I remember."
Can I leave now?
"That's fine! It suits your Quirk." Midnight gushes. You roll your eyes at the pro hero's antics and walk back to your seat, placing your head down for the remainder of class.
Everyone eventually made their way out of the classroom to head for home. Lazily getting your belonging together, you head out. Music blasting in your ears, a hand on your shoulder stops you.
Who the fuck?
Sorry for the shitty chapter. I've been really lazy and idk when I'll actually update this. Maybe during the summer? Who knows?
