My one and only (a solangelo story)

Hello, sunshine.

Nico's pov
I woke up screaming and sweating, the horrific nightmare still clear as crystal in my mind. I gasped for air, relieved that it was nothing but a dream.

Hearing my bloodcurdling screams, my boyfriend immediately ran in, his face plastered with worry. 'You look adorable like that, Solace.' I snickered,  with the tiniest hint of a smile tugging at my mouth.
'Why thank you. Facts don't need to be said.' He told me while leaning closer. 'So,what happened? Nightmares again, Di Angelo?'
'Guess so.' My smile dropping as I recalled the nightmare.
'Tell me about it.'
'It's....about you..... I don't think you'll like it.'
'Since when was the last time I liked any of your dreams, Di Angelo?'
'Fine fine, so uh I was in a cave........'

When I was talking about the part where I found Will dead, I started to tear up. It just felt, so real, so, so real.

Will's pov
'It's okay Angel, I'm still here.' I said gently to Nico. It's just stupid, how much shit that he went through. All the dreams, the monsters and Tartarus, and with his depression and him struggling with his sexuality, this life almost broke him. He just continued crying and sobbing on my shoulder, while I just felt sad and hurt that he went through all of that, alone.

'Will?'
'Yes angel?' The hurt clear in my voice.
'Don't worry about me, it's just a dream.'
'In fact,' Nico muttered,
'I think we should worry about you.'
'Why? You're the one with the bad dream, not me.' I said in confusion.
'I mean, demigod dreams sometimes mean more right? Like I think it's some kind of message.'
' You're right Neeks, but what kind of message? Maybe it's trying to tell us that I'll get possessed or manipulated? Thus the red eyes that I supposedly had in the dream.'
'I don't feel any weird presences around you, but you being possessed can definitely be the message.'
'I dunno, but let's just promise to keep our eyes open and let's stay close okay Angel?'
I leaned in, gently kissing him on his forehead. Nico looked adorable looking like a tomato. Even though he wasn't used to public shows of affection, I can tell that he likes it 😏

Staring into his black eyes, I leaned even closer, until I could count the freckles on his cheeks.

Nico's pov
Will Solace looked beautiful. With his tan skin and sky blue eyes, I felt.... happy. Happy.

'Di Angelo, you need to rest after that nightmare. I'll bring you some food. Doctor's orders.'

Hmph. 'But I just slept!! I'm not sleepy OR hungry!!!' I whined. Will gave me his death glare which looked very cute.
'Fine.'
Will smiled and sashayed away.
Suddenly, demigods from the Hecate cabin stormed in and pushed Will to the ground. They surrounded me and pulled me up from the bed.

The last thing I saw, was my one and only's shadow.
