Prologue

Y/N's POV

"You just went to Jin's house yesterday Daehan..Why are you going there again?"I asked as I watch my older brother fixing his hair infront of the mirror.

" We're having a birthday party for Jimin and I need to be there,Y/N."He replied.

"But it's my birthday too,you know.."
I sighed in dissapointment,knowing how much my brother prioritize his friends more than his own sister.But how could I blame them?

His friends are the person who makes him the happiest person in this world.

Daehan stop his movement and turned around to look at me,who are currently spacing out.He took a few steps,approaching me before kneeling infront of me.

He smiled."I promise you that once the party ended,I'll come home as fast as I can and celebrate your birthday together, okay?"

I pouted,"You promised okay?Don't forget about it."
He pinched my cheeks and chuckled,
"Of course I won't forget it,you dumbass.You're my only sister.No matter what,I always love you and be with you as long as I'm alive.
Remember that."

I nodded and give him a small smile,"
Okay,you may go now.You don't want to make them waiting for you,right?"

He chuckle,"Right.You sure you don't want to come over?"

"I have an assignment to be complete,
remember? If I have nothing to do,I would've come."

"You're right.Then,I'm leaving now.I'll text you once I arrived,so don't worry about me."Daehan said before grabbing his keys and walk to the front door of our apartment.

"Tell Jimin that I'm sorry I couldn't come and have a happiest birthday!"I said.
"I will.Take care,okay?"
"You too.Drive safe."

With that,he left our apartment.
Unfortunately,after an hour of waiting,I still didnt get any text from him.I tried to call his phone but end up  in the voicemail.

"Why isn't he answering?He promised to text me once he arrived.."I mumbled in frustration.

Suddenly my phone ring.Hoping that it was Daehan,but it was one of his friends.

"Y/N? It's me,Jin.Is Daehan still at your house?"Jin asked,as I could sense his voice shaking.

"N-No,he left to your house an hour ago."I replied.
"He's not here,Y/N.We've waited for him and he still not here.W-we called him numerous of time,but he switches of his phone."

My breath becomes unsteady,as fear start taking over me.

"It's raining heavily right now.We're really worried about him.."

Raining...

"No..It can't be.."I quickly grab my coat and ran out of the apartment.Taking a taxi,I went to the junction not far from Jin's house.

"Y/N?What's wrong?"Jin asked,his tone sounds worried.

When I arrived there,the scene infront of me makes my whole body feels weak and my head dizzy.

The scene I once had in my dream..

Came true..

The dream where my brother got killed in a car accident.

Came true...

On Jimin's and my birthday.
