"THEY'RE okay, seungcheol. i promise you, i'll take them back to their respective dorms later and you can all relax." jinhwan explained to seungcheol and the other leaders who were all relieved to hear that their members were okay.
shortly after they ended the call and jinhwan went to his dongsaengs, all five of them were sprawled on their big couch, cuddling with each other. his members were standing there with crossed arms, watching them with an irritated look. jinhwan sighed and rolled his eyes at them, they were acting like little kids, desperate for attention.
"now tell me, what's wrong with you? you've been glaring at the five of them since the moment you saw them without any plausible and valid reason to do so." jinhwan raised his eyebrows at them and they looked at each other with frantic eyes.
"um... i... we..." hanbin started but he didn't find the right words.
bobby, being the direct person he is, sighed and answered the eldest's question.
"we're jealous."
jinhwan raised his eyebrows, waiting for them to explain further. but nobody said anything, not even bobby. so jinhwan nodded slightly and looked for the easiest target.
"donghyuk-ah. tell me, why are you jealous?" he looked donghyuk in the eyes, making the younger nervous in the process.
"what? we're not!" he panicked.
all of the others face-palmed and groaned in annoyance, bobby had clearly stated that they were before. donghyuk ruined it for them. finally, yunhyeong decided to speak up as the second oldest.
"we're jealous because you don't pay as much attention to us as you used to. you don't hang out with us anymore either, only with them. we miss hanging out with you, or eldest hyung who we don't appreciate enough despite everything you do for us. but believe us, we do appreciate you! we love you a lot! we were just to blind to see what you've been doing for us all along."
after his little speech, he exhaled noticeably, making jinhwan soften.
"yunhyeong-ah." jinhwan's eyes spoke more than that one word he said.
