Haley's POV:

I'm honestly kind of excited about my date with Dylan... but the thing is, I've never really thought of him more than a friend. I mean, duh, he's gorgeous, but he was just a friend. I just hope tonight isn't awkward.

Dylan was going to pick me up in about an hour, and I had to decide what to wear. After minutes of frantically searching my crowded closet, I found the PERFECT outfit. Since Dyl said to dress casual, I chose to wear a green crop-top with white stripes, and a black cami underneath. Also I wore my dark-wash Capri's and Sperry's. With about 30 minutes to spare, I started  running the straightener through my soft, blond hair. I heard a knock at the door, and the nervous butterflies exploded in my empty stomach.

"Hey" He smiled nervously, which I thought was adorable.

"Hey!" I grinned maybe a little too enthusiastically, because he chuckled.

"So, uh, you ready to go?"

"Yep! Let me just grab my wallet and phone. Where are we going anyways?"

"Well I uh- thought we could, go to the movies, if you want?" He questioned, his eyes flickering to my gaze and then to the floor.

"Yeah, that sounds fun! Let's go!" I smiled and guided him out my apartment door. When we made it to the movie theater, he opened the door for me shyly. I smiled and thanked him in a posh British accent. He chuckled and shook his head.

"What movie do you want to see?"

I pondered, rubbing my chin, as if it were a beard. "Hmm. Anything but horror! You know I hate horror."

He rolled his eyes. "Fineee. What would Babey Haley like to see then?" Ahh, FINALLY the flirty, outgoing Dylan was back, leaving shy, nervous Dylan in the dust.

I squinted my eyes, thinking about the different movies...My eyes widened.

"Let's see The Lorax!" I squealed excitedly.

"You really are a baby, Haley. But that's why I love you."

I glared at him, and he chuckled.

The beginning of the movie was a little awkward, considering the fact that there was a couple right in front of us making out. I mean, really? Making out during a little kids' movie? Who raised you?! I sighed to myself. Dylan looked at me questionably. I nodded my head towards the lovebirds and he snickered.

He wiggled his eyebrows suggestively. He sighed. "You know, it's not a bad idea at all. I mean, we could do it too, who knows, may-"

I looked down at my lap, and fought against my instincts to start blushing. I failed. Dylan nudged me.

"Hey. I'm just kidding, Hales. You know that!"

"Yeah, yeah, whatever. Let's just try to concentrate on the movie so I won't vomit."

After the movie ended, Dylan offered to drive me home, since it would be a 10-mile walk if I walked home...Not that I was fat, but I mean come on. Who would want to walk 10 miles just to get to there house? Not me. We pulled in to my apartment parking lot as he turned to ignition, shutting off the engine. He sighed.

"You know, I had a lot of fun tonight. Even if the view in front of us was quite disturbing..."

I cackled, my head being thrown back. Wow, THAT'S attractive, Haley. NOT.

"Hahaha, I know, right. Well, thanks for taking me out. I had fun too." I smiled, and leaned over and kissed his cheek before I stepped out of the car. I almost swore I saw him blush, and I smiled to myself.

Later that night, around 11, I got a text from Stevie, asking me if I wanted  to go to the farmer's market with her and her dad in the morning. I instantly replied, feeling suddenly excited. Stevie and her dad had a tradition to go the Saturday farmer's market every single Saturday or Sunday morning, no matter what. I thought it was great. Farmer's markets in this town were really fun, they had SO many different kinds of foods. Not only did they sell fruits and vegetables, they had different booths with home-made merchandise such as woven bracelets and headbands. It was always a great time. I awoke bright and early the next morning to the annoying beeping of my alarm clock. I sighed, and got up. I through on a pair of denims and a white frilly top, with my leather cowboy boots. I wove my blond hair into a messy braid on the side, while humming to myself.

"They see me mowin', my front lawn!" I  sighed, and picked up my phone.

"WHAT did I tell you about changing my ring-tone?"

"Sorry. I couldn't resist. Anyways, you ready? Dad and I are gonna leave in a few minutes."

"Yep. Meet ya there in a few. See ya!"

"See ya."

I arrived to the market in exactly 7 minutes...a new record!

"Heyy girllllll. You ready  to partayyyy?" She waved her hands around enthusiastically.

"Uhm, considering we're at a fruit market...YES!"

She giggled, and we strolled like gangsters over to the face-painting station when I heard that annoying ring-tone once more.

"They see me mowin-"

It was a text, from...Harry?

From Harry:

Hey Haley :)

I sighed, and replied.

To Harry:

Hey Harry. What's up?

Harry:

What makes you think something's up? I'm not allowed to have a casual conversation with my gorgeous friend without being questioned?

Haley:

Watcha need, Harry?

Harry:

Well, I was wondering if you wanted to go on a date with me? ;) xx

REALLY. ?Of course, he chooses to ask me the day AFTER my date with Dylan. Not that Dylan and I were dating, but still, it seemed a bit odd.

Haley:

Umm, I don't know...

Harry:

Come on. I'm not THAT ugly. ;)

I chuckled.

Haley:

Well, I guess. ON LY as friends, though. I mean it. I can barely tolerate you as that. *scoff*

Harry:

You know you love me. ;) I'll pick you up tonight at 7? xx

Haley:

Fine. Bye.

I mentally scolded myself for being so rude, but I didn't need to make his ego any bigger. Trust me, it was already bigger than 3 people combined.

Stevie saw my emotions change through each text I read, from rolling my eyes, to being confused and arrogant.

"Uhh, everything okay there, Haley?"

"Uhh, y-yeah.." I looked down in embarrassment, realizing I had just ACCEPTED Harry Style's offer to go on a date.

"Really? Hmm. Seems to me like you're BLUSHING!!!!!!!!!!!!!" She jumped up and down obnoxiously pointing at me as she yelled.

"Stevie shut up! Fine I'll tell you. Someone asked me on a date."

Her eyes grew in excitement. 'Who?!" Her devilish grin turned into a rabies-invested-crazed-psychotic-dog-kind-of-smile.

"Harry..."

Her eyes brows rose and her eyes widened to the size of golf balls.

DUN DUN DUN......
