Weki Meki (Hangul: 위키미키) is a South Korean girl group formed by Fantagio in 2017. The group consists of eight members: Ji Suyeon, Elly, Choi Yoo-jung, Kim Do-yeon, Sei, Lua, Rina, and Lucy.
Pre-debut
The members started out as trainees under Fantagio i-Teen, a rookie talent development program under Fantagio Entertainment, and were known as i-Teen Girls.
In March 2017, Weki Meki (then i-Teen Girls) opened a Naver V Live Channel where 8 trainees introduced themselves to be a part of the next fantagio girl group. These trainees were Elly, Yoo-jung, Do-yeon, Sei, Lua, Rina, Lucy and former trainee Yejin. On the 4th of June's V Live Yoo-jung(former IOI member)confirmed her place in the final line up of Weki Meki as well as Sei, Lua & Elly. On the 5th of June's V Live Do-yeon(former IOI member) confirmed her place in the final line up of Weki Meki as well as Lucy, Rina & unseen trainee Ji Suyeon.
