Yaoyorozu Momo: Rich, beautiful, cute, ambitious, smart, sexy, and overall an amazing person with a great quirk. It was no wonder that she got into the hero course of UA academy through recommendations.

Despite being the best on almost all fronts, one of the things she was definitely lacking was confidence. She felt like she wasn't good enough, like she would be too weak to be a pro hero and fight against villains.

Back when the league of villains attacked (doesn't matter which attack honestly, same idea), she didn't feel like she was of much help during the attack. She felt like a weakling, and she hated it.

She always looked up to those who fought with their all at the front, protecting their friends while putting themselves at risk. She admired Izuku and Katsuki, but the person who really caught her eye was Shouto.

Momo was never afraid to approach him, and he didn't seem to mind her company. They were acquaintances, not particularly close, but the cheerful girl felt a connection.

One time, the girl with raven hair got lost in thought during training, her uselessness being the only thing on her mind as that day she couldn't improve over her existing ability whatsoever. She didn't show her sorrow though, still keeping a bright smile on her face and cheering her classmates on like usual.

Most people would never notice that anything was wrong with her at that moment, but Todoroki, who was both the least dense and densest person in the room at the same time, did. He could tell something was off, but couldn't pinpoint the problem without talking with the person.

Not liking seeing her faking cheer, he tapped her shoulder while she was watching Jirou duking it out with Denki. She looked at him confused. "Hey, can we talk alone for a second?" He asked her plainly and straight to the point, making her cheeks turn a little red with embarrassment.

"Um... Sure." She hesitated with her words but followed Icy Hot to an area they were allowed in, but no one was there at the moment. Once they were alone, Shouto didn't beat around the bush and straight up asked: "Are you on your period or something?" His cheeks were a little red as he asked that in spite of his neutral expression, since it was obviously an awkward topic.

Yaomomo stood there, extremely confused. Noticing that confusion, Todoroki continued. "If your cramps are too much, you should tell Mr. Aizawa that you're not feeling well."
The girl was still just as confused, and flustered to boot.

"I-I'm fine, my period ended last week!" She explained, and now it was the boy's turn to be confused, since it didn't line up with what he already knew. "Then why are you acting more stiff than usual? And you're trying to hide it as far as I saw." He didn't waste a second in trying to understand what was wrong. He was a curious guy, and cared about his classmates more than people understand.

"Well, that's..." Momo didn't want to say the truth. She didn't want him, or anyone, to know of her insecurities, and she didn't want to bother him. She didn't want to be rude either. "I... I'm afraid I can't tell you." She said, subconsciously avoiding eye contact.

"I understand." Shouto said with his usual tone and placed his hand on his friend's shoulder. "If you ever want to talk, I'm willing to listen." He said and let go of her shoulder, before walking off, leaving her surprised, flustered, and happy. She smiled a little.

They eventually went back to the group, and Momo kept faking her happy attitude, even if she did feel a little better merely from her friend's concern. To Yaomomo, everyone was her friend, even if they weren't that close.

As hero training came to an end, the girl's negative emotions grew. At this point, she considered telling Shouto, since he probably could give her a few tips on how to become a better hero.

Before Todoroki could even get into the dormitory area, Yaoyorozu tapped his shoulder, making him turn around and face her. "I ask of you to meet me next to the gym at 19:00. Please do not be late and make sure you finish your homework beforehand." She said with determination in her eyes. To that, Half n' Half could only nod while looking into her eyes.

The time had arrived, both did their homework like the honor students they were, and they met next to the gym at the exact time they set. "So, what did you call me here for?" Knockoff Zuko asked, a bunch of ideas playing in his head. "Teach me how to be a better hero." The girl said with sparkly eyes.

Todoroki seemed pretty confused at the request. "Shouldn't you be requesting this sort of hero training from Mr. Aizawa or All Might?" He genuinely asked, since he was pretty bad at explaining things.

"I-I just thought that maybe you could give me some tips, being such a great hero and all. Unlike myself..." Yaomomo had no self-confidence, she felt like she wasn't good enough, and that was her weakness.

"You're a great hero though." Shouto said, stating the obvious that wasn't so obvious to the raven-haired girl. "A useful quirk, kindness, heroic charisma... You're really great, you just need to realize that and work hard to become a pro. That's all there is to it." He said in his very usual monotonic voice, but his eyes were a little sparkly when he talked about how amazing his friend is.

Momo blushed at his words, she was all flustered and cute. "You really mean it?" She wasn't certain wether or not her classmates was joking. "Of course not." He assured her.

The girl smiled brightly. "Thank you." She said, feeling much better now. Silence now filled the room, making this scenario awkward.
"So... Wanna get dinner sometime?" Half n' Half suggested earning a nod from Momo. "That'd be lovely."
