The next morning I woke up. I got out of bed, took a shower, washed my face, and ate the mornings choice of breakfast then I ran outside beare foot in a pair of cut off jeans and an old t-shirt. My hair was thrown into a messy bun and strands of black silk fell into my face.
I ran to Ray's house and knocked on the door. In our small town in Oklahoma, we all lived close together. Ray finally came out. He rubbed his eyes. "Aimilie... Goodness.. What are you doing up so early?.." He asked and rubbed his eyes and yawned.
"Sorry! I had a dream last night and I had to tell you!" I said and looked at him. I really wished my dream would come true. I wanted to be that mysterious white wolf with deep peircing blue eyes. My soul yearned for the beauty in it's mystery and grace.
I told him everything about the dream and how I felt about it. He said I was ready to meet the pack. I walked with him out into his yard and watched 6 other guys walked slowly, but coolly onto the grass. All of them looked so odd, like they too had a secret they could not tell. I felt awkward knowing I was surrounded by all males. Would it be this way as the white wolf?
