That night I went home and fell asleep in my bed. I dreamt of the white wolf again. This time she was howling at the moon and then Ray (as a wolf) came out and started howling with her. Creating a symphony to serenade the moon. It was beautiful.

I woke up in the middle of the night and went down to the old creek. It was dark, but the stars lit the way. When I sat on the edge of the bank in my same old spot, blue light shined on my dark hair and skin. I looked at my reflection. I didn't see me though. It was the white wolf. Suddenly, gracefully, and beautifully I changed into the magnificient white wolf I had been dreaming about. I howled at the moon and closed my blue eyes. It felt so natural.

Soon Ray came out and started howling too. We sang to the moon and stars. It felt like hours before we finally stopped howling. I lay down next to the water. He sat next to me and looked down at me. He put his black wet nose to my pink nose and looked into my eyes. I rubbed my head against the side of his face.

I knew I had to go home soon. It was almost morning. I stood up and howled at the moon one last time then ran off into the woods. I heard Ray howl and then I finally changed back into my human self. Still in my corny Bunny pajamas I walked home.

I went back to sleep dreaming of the white wolf, who of which I knew was me.
