A knock souded at the door of my apartment. He was here!!! Today Kelvin and I were going to have a date. It has been so long since our last one and I can't wait. Squealing like a lovestruck fan girl I pick out my outfit. We agreed that this date would be relaxed. Quickly fixing my black flannel, for the fall weather you know, I open the door with a smile. "Hello!" I trapped him my hug as I smile. I have been with Kelvin for three years. I think he might pop the question soon. "Hey Sammy," he smiled down at me with a little hesitation. I open my mouth to ask what was wrong when i felt a pair of lips on my forehead. I'll ask later. Turning to my door i close it and hug his arm. "So where are we going?" There was a bounce in my step as i walked holding onto him. "The park, cutie." He booped my nose. With a samll giggle I cheered. He knows i love the park. It is such a special place because we met there. With a relaxed look on my face I remember the fateful day and my heart speeds up. I love this man. Kelvin opens his car door and helps me in. "Thank you baby." With a nod he closes my door and walks to the driver side. Oh no... he seems upset. I... I think I'll give myself to him tonight. I know I told him to wait until we are married, but he needs me tonight. It'll be so romantic. I'll set up candles and wear that dress he always likes me wearing. I smile at him. I'll make him better I know it. I turn up the music and start dancing and singing to it after I buckle up.  I see him smile at me from the corner of my eye as he sings along to the song with me. This is what life is about. We continue to jam out to every song that came on till Kelvin pulled into the park lot. Happily I got out with Kelvin not far to follow. We walked and talked for about 30 minutes. The brick path slowly thickened and widened and showed dark wooden benches lined up on the side of the path. That led to a small forest and garden. This is where we met. An old man sat beside his wife as they laughed about their past. A child runs around as his mother worriedly talks on her phone and a young man sits on the bench  typing on his laptop. A beautiful red headed girl was giggling at her phone with a simple smile. With a blissful sigh I lean against Kelvin. "This is where we met." Kelvin turned to me as he said this, "but also... this is the place that I..." Omg!!! It's gonna happen!!! "Today I will-" a high pitched shriek echoed off the trees. Kelvin went wide eyed as the pretty red head jumped on him. I think she has the wrong man. It's ok. It happens. shock raced across my face as he held her back with a smile. H-he what? The lady kissed him and raised a perfect eyebrow at me. "Go away. I'm guessing he already told you? "Actually baby... I was just about to." Kelvin aturned to me. What is she talking about. "Sammy. We are over. I can't love you anymore." My heart shattered and my dreams collapsed as he walked away with her in his arms. Why?? I thought I did everything right...
