felix sighed as he arrived at school, he really wasnt feeling like being around people today. not even chan, he was just tired and sad.
he saw chan and instead of running and hugging him like usual he just walked past him. his earbuds on full blast, listening to his playlist titled '💔' he and chan were perfectly fine. he just wanted to cry, he missed his father lots today.
today marked 5 years since he passed away.
"hey baby." chan smiled at his boyfriend who just kept walking. chan furrowed his eyebrows in confusion.
"just leave him alone today, he wont talk to you even if youre the pope." jisung said pulling chan away from felix.
"w-why?" chan asked feeling upset now.
"his father passed away 5 years ago to this day." jisung responded and chan nodded.
felix put his stuff in his locker and walked to class, his teacher tried getting him to take out his earbuds but he refused. she just shrugged it off since he was a good student. he sat down and chan came in soon after sitting next to him. he went to hold his hand like usual but felix just pulled away.
felix started to shiver from the cold room, his long sleeve shirt not keeping him warm enough. he had worn sweatpants which he never does unless hes at home.
"here." chan took off his sweatshirt and handed it to his boyfriend who took it without saying anything. he put it on and it gave him a feeling of comfort. he felt his eyes start to water so he scooted his chair closer to chans. he hugged chans side and started to silently cry.
chan raised his hand.
"can we please work in the hall today?" the teacher nodded and chan grabbed their stuff, standing up. felix followed behind, his head hanging low.
they sat on the ground in the hall, felix cuddled on chans lap. letting out all of his emotions.
"shhh baby its okay, youre alright." chan rubbed his back.
"i m-miss him so much." felix cried and chan just held him closely.
"i know you do, its okay baby, im here." chan said. "how about i take you home?" chan asked and felix nodded.
