Malec ~ I Miss You

(Chapter 7:) Date Night...(more like 7minutes)

«Magnus' POV:»

I felt horrible.

I hated leaving Alec as it was but the fact that i had to leave him to see Richard made it ten thousand times worse.

We had another stupid date night tonight.

We'd already had 3 this week.

Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday and now Sunday.

I made sure our dates were as short as physically possible.

I usually literally shove the food down my throat as fast i can.

I don't talk to him unless he says something to me and when i do reply

i give one or two word answers.

Tonight I was taking him to a restaurant in the rough part of town called "Eat and then get out"

It sounded good to me.

I hope Richard chokes on his food.

I mentally scolded myself for thinking that (although he kinda deserves it, i can't wish for someones death. That's just plain evil.)

When i go home from being with Alec, i have three clients to get through before i have to go on our date.

I purposely go extremely slow so I'll be late for the date.

I arrive, in dirty black track suit bottoms and a red top, fifteen minutes late.

Yay!

" Sorry," is all i say in a very monotone voice when i arrive.

“ It's fine, honey," Richard says with a smile "but what were you doing that took you so long?"

"Work," i reply, honestly bored out of my mind already.

I order a chicken soup while Richard orders some shit i couldn't be bothered to listen to.

I proceed to shove the food down my throat without saying anything.

I'm done in record timing, 7minutes.

'Still 7minutes too many' i think to myself.

I swallow and dash out of the restaurant...

Well i tried to anyway.

I'm pulled to a stop and turn around to see Richard holding my wrist.

I glared him and if looks could kill he'd be dead for sure.

In fact he would have been dead along time ago...

Way back in the 18th century baby!!

"Babe, you still there, anyone home?" Richard's words snapped me out of my thoughts of the 1800's.

I really hated it when he called me babe.

Only Alec is allowed to do that, you b*st*rd!!

He looked up at me with his small grey eyes.

(They're absolutely nothing on Alec's amazing gorgeous blue eyes!)

"I think we should move into together soon. We're ready baby."

I wrenched my arm from his iron grip using my warlock strength and ran as i could out of the restaurant and down the street.

Shit. Shit. Shit. Shit.

Shit.

What was i doing wrong?!

Why does he still like me?

How come he wants to move in together??

My eyes started to burn and i knew i was going to start crying soon.

The tears were not just tears of sadness but tears of frustration.

This plan was not working in the slightest!!

Before i knew it, i was outside the Institute.

I placed my hand on the door and it opened.

I'd been here soo many times that it recognized me.

I got into the lift and when i got back out i ran straight up to Alec's room not even saying hello to Isabelle, who is Ally's sister and one of my closest friends.

I didn't even knock i just ran straight in and through myself at him on the bed, burying my face in his neck.

He sat shocked for a second but then he wrapped his arms around my back, rubbing it soothingly.

After a few minutes, he gently lifted my head up to his so our foreheads touched.

"Maggie, babe, what's wrong? What happened?" he asked softly.

I opened my mouth to reply but instead, to both our surprise, i burst into floods of tears.
