Harry's POV
As Hagrid knocked thrice on the door a witch with emerald green robes walked out. She was a woman who I knew not to mess with. I could feel the power emanating from her, she was someone who a had a lot of authority here.
"Welcome to Hogwarts, you will be sorted shortly. There are four houses, Ravenclaw for the wise and intelligent, Hufflepuff for the loyal and hardworking, Gryffindor for the brave and chivalrous and Slytherin for the cunning and ambitious. We have a house point system in place every year, your triumphs will earn you points, any rule breaking will lose your house points, I am Professor Mcgonagal and I am the head of Gryffindor house, the other heads of houses are: Severus Snape, head of Slytherin, Pomona Sprout head of Hufflepuff, and Filius Flitwick head of Ravenclaw house. The sorting will commence momentarily."
A few minutes later Professor Mcgonagal came outside and led us into the great hall. It looked slightly different from when I was here but I couldn't see the founders portraits anywhere, they told me that there should be portraits of them in the great hall.
We were told to wait in a line and when we were sorted we would go to our house table.
"Hannah Abbott"
