Kyro and Timber sit near the fire, Timber begins to tell Kyro a story, "The loners live in an old barn, beyond the south side, and steal the food" Kyro looks in awe, Zander rolls his eyes, "And eat little pups for dinner" Kyro rolled his eyes, "Shut up Zander, I hope they eat you!" Kyro hopped onto Zander and bit his ear, Timber stood up, and walked to jess' den, if there was one canine that he could trust the most, it was Jess, Jess could keep a secret until she died.
[LATER THAT NIGHT]
Timber and Jess snuck out of the camp, Slipping through trees upon trees until they approached the river, Jess crossed, cool water soaking her paws, fresh alpine filling the air, it smelt very fresh on the south side, Timber trotted uncomfortable, Timber disliked the water, a bit cold for him. Jess and Timber quickly passed through the south side, careful to not get caught, twigs snapped under their paws, Timber clenched his eyes and help his breath every time a twig broke, as if it would "save" him. They arrived at the barn, hiding behind some shrubbery and the bobwire fence, a lab, Roxy, slipped out from the barn, and Jess quickly noticed, "That's roxy, she was in the south clan once, she must be leading them." Timber looked over, "Wait, What? Why isn't she in the south clan anymore?" Jess crouched, "Not now, Timber" Jess ran across the yard, Taking Roxy down, "Timber, COME." Jess held Roxy down, "Keep your little pack away from the north, and the south, go find something to eat somewhere else" Roxy stuttered, "We..Well you see, there is no food, there are fires burning everything to a crisp" Jess rolled her eyes, "Timber, go get a branch" Roxy gasped for air, as Jess was choking her, "Please, No. I.. I will tell them to go east!!" Roxy wiggles away from jess' grasp, running back to the barn, Jess trotted back into the south's territory, Timber unable to move, Shocked. Jess yelled, "Let's go, dork" Timber shook, and followed after Jess, Mousse was waiting at the entrance to the camp, "Where have you been?" Jess and Timber stood in shock.
