The day came. “WAKE UP, ZANE! WE'RE GONNA BE LATE!” Cody was shaking me to get out of bed. he was wearing his dalek beanie and his loki sweater. He had a orange piece of cardstock paperwith “GO AIMEE!”written in blue. We were running through the V.G.A halls into the glass dome where Aimee and the rest of her team had just entered. “They have to complete 2 test chambers and all their teammates have to finish together before the other team does.” Cody said. The first test chamber they had to complete was from chapter 1 sector 5. They all placed there portals in the correct spot and they won! The next one was 2:4 and they only had 1 minute to do it. I closed my eyes and crossed my fingers and whispered “Beat them, beat th-” but all I was hearing was boo’s and cheers when I opened my eyes, I couldn’t believe what I saw! Aimee’s team won! She was just sitting there and just smiling. “That was awesome, Aimee!” Cody said. “Hey lets go get some victory cake!” Ian suggested. We all turned to him silently. Cody and Aimee and I all said this: “No. Cake is a lie.” I exclaimed that I had a big argument about the smaller the crime, the bigger the lie, hence cupcakes and pancakes as of them being small cute little things that will rip your face of and suck all the blood from it!* Cody then yelled “LET’S get victory pie!” Now everybody agreed.
*I actually had this arguement.
