wonderland's diner

we walk into the diner as a waiter introduces himself.

"hello, my name is wilburt and i will be your waiter for today. for how many?" he calmly asks.

hayden tries to hold in his laughter and lauren hits his arm, nudging him to stop even though we were all trying not to laugh.

"for four, thank you." i say.

"alright. right this way!" wilburt smiles.

he takes us to a little corner booth and hands us menus, "i will return when you're all ready."

hayden bursts into laughter, "okay but wIbUrt?! i'm just wheezing at this point!"

"um hayden you might wanna calm down." lauren chuckles.

"yeah people are staring." kenzie whispers.

"okay but i'm serious. why did they do wilburt like that by naming him literally wILbuRt?" hayden asks.

"we don't know hayden, and we never will." i laugh.

"alright, what would you teenagers like to order?" wilburt asks.

"a chocolate milkshake with a side of fries, please!" kenzie orders.

"sure, and what about you young man? the kid who's laughing at my name." he looks at hayden.

all of our eyes widen.

"y-you heard that..?" hayden asks.

"oh dear child, we all did." he chuckles.

"uhm i'm sorry." hayden looks down.

"no worries kid. what would you like?"

"a root beer and the classic wonderland's burger."

lauren and i order and as the man left we started laughing.

"hayden, you really did yourself there." kenzie laughs.

"yeah he was like 'we all did' that was hilarious." lauren remarks.

"bro you really need to work on chilling out." i laugh.

"okay i get it guys!" hayden puts his hands up in the airs and sighs.
