I blinked a few times thinking my eyes were sealed shut, but they weren't. I was in a pitch dark room, I supposed and when I tried to stand up, I wasn't able to.

My arms were bounded to something that made a clinking noise. Possible chains. Then it all came to me in a flash.

Glass breaking. My eye being punctured wih glass. Unending pain. Mr. Arch. A needle being injected into my arm.

I blinked my eyes several more times to reassure that my eye didn't have glass in it. The pain was gone but I could feel a thin piece of string near it.

He must have sown it together.

Wait, so I wasn't dreaming? All of that really happened.

No, this can't be happening. I couldn't have gotten kidnapped. No, this isn't supposed to happen to me!

Footsteps sounded within the distance from where I was. I could hear metal clanking against the door as someone tried opening it with a key.

I held my ground or chair since I basically didn't have any ability to stand and watched. The door opened wide and someone had stepped inside. They closed the door behind them, leaving both of us in the darkness.

A light switch must have been turned on because one of one, the lights flickered on, already revealing the person. I took a quick look at the surrounding, coming to a conclusion that I was in an empty room. Nothing else was around but the dust that made the floor look dirty.

"At last, you're awake Maddy", Mr.Arch greeted, walking over to me. He wore black attire only except with no mask.

"Don't call me that", I fired at him, glaring my eyes. His expression on his face which was filled with happiness was now plastered with anger. It was a side of him I've never experienced.

"I WILL CALL YOU WHAT I WANT, WHEN I WANT. IM THE BOSS OF YOU NOW, YOU UNDERSTAND MADDY?!" and with a full force his cold hand collided with my face, shooting major pain into my cheeks.

I held my head down and nodded rapidly, holding back the tears that were beginning to form into my pupils.

"LOOK AT ME WHEN I SPEAK TO YOU", I shot my head right up not wanting to be hit anymore.

His eyes melted into mine, possibly giving me fear thoroughly.

"Now apologize", he commanded. I tried to apologize but my voice was disrupted by the hoarse weak sound from crying.

"We'll work on that. In the meantime, I hope you've learned your lesson", he replied calmly as if nothing happened. He planted a kiss on my head, making my spine chill from the feeling of him even touching me.

Mr. Arch proceeded to walk out the door but seized when he step foot outside the room. He glanced back at me, making full contact.

"Oh and call me Henry from now on", he told me and shut the door behind him.

Seconds later, the lights flickered off, leaving me once again in the darkness.

It must have been years. Or at least that's how it felt like. Mr. Arch never came back to the room, worrying me.

Was he going to leave me here to die?

My stomach grumbled, making me even weaker knowing that I didn't have any energy inside of me to try to escape.

The door was being unlocked, my heart pounded, waiting for possibly food but when Mr.Arch opened the door, no food was in sight.

"Time to take a shower", he announced and placed a needle into my arm, making my body lose more energry, not that it had any.
