Chpt 2.Friendships(rewrite)

"Rosario!"A male voice calls out
causing me to jump.

I whip my head around temporarily feeling the breeze run past my curls and on to my scalp.

Aiden.

'Oh..uh..hi,"I respond uncertainly.Coincidentally this is the first time I ever sat next to him in class and see him around here.

I come to a gradually hault to politely wait on him to catch up.
"Aiden right?"

"It me,"he smiles a little.His eyes not fully matching with his smile.
I bite the inside of my left cheek, not sure what to say next.

Once we're standing side by side we mimic eachothers pace and walk down the street.

"I've never seen you around here before."I try to diffuse the silence.

"Oh yeah.My stepmom moved in there recently,"he points to a house a few houses down,"And I stay here every other week."

"Oh well this is me,"I point my chin in the direction of my home.

"See ya around then."He smiles a boyish smile.

"I guess so."I smile back with butterflies in my stomach knowing that I may have just made a friend.
