i looked at renjun. he looked at jae with an unusual stare. it was like he was in love.

i wanted to talk to jeno but i didn't want to leave them alone.

"i'm going to take my things upstairs, i'll be back" jae smiled, "i'll help you" renjun smiled at her.

"it's fine renjun, i'll help her" i tried to seem calm. "i don't need help, thanks though" she smiled kindly

jae left upstairs leaving us three down here.

"jeno, is it true?" he asked "what?"

"that jaeeun doesn't have a boyfriend" he mumbled, "she doesn't, but she doesn't need you. she has me" i answered for jeno.

"she doesn't need you either. she is sixteen years old, she can somewhat take care of herself" jeno finally said something.

"i'm sorry, i didn't know you liked jae" renjun apologized. i sighed. maybe renjun was better than me. maybe he would end up being a better boyfriend.

but jae also had jisung.

and jeongin.

and hwang hyunjin.

all of them treat her right.

"i have to go home.. see you tomorrow" i lied.

"okay! jeno what did you make for dinner?" i smiled. jeno looked somewhat frustrated & renjun looked guilty. "where's donghyuck?"

"he left?" "why?" "he had to go home"

"but he never leaves around this time..." "he had to go, okay? ask him tomorrow if you really want to know why he left" jeno said. he left to the kitchen to get the table ready.

"did you guys have an argument?" i asked renjun. it seemed like he wanted to tell me something. "yeah.." "why?"
