I could feel it. The end. The cold stone below, storming rain above. My side torn open, blood leaking out from the seam. I could feel my energy sap away as my wound stings, and my body shivers. It seems they found me, and I was unable to escape. I wasn't fast enough, and now I'm barely standing as they stand around me. There were four of them to just me, and I was already injured. There's no way I could take them all, let alone one. They were grown men, Mercenaries specialized in the art of easy murder. They don't care about the honor of it. I can't expect them to fight fair. One of my knees is about to give out too, and if it does then I'm completely defenseless, not that I'm not already. I want to cry, but I know it will only make the pain in my side worse. My hand covers the gash, but its definitely not enough. They try to speak to me, probably taunting me, but all I can hear is the ringing in my ear and my thoughts... The end was coming and I had no way to stop it. After everything I've been through, and I get ended by some random head hunters... I guess they got bored of my silence, because the Mage to my front begins to raise his hand, fire slowly exerting from it. I guess this is it, huh? This is where everything ends. Who knew it would be by people I didn't even know... Do you know that moment where your life flashes before your eyes? Right before you take your last breath? Thats what happened to me next...
