I never once knewThe stars had a flavor
'Til I kissed you, Dolcezza.
But once I did, it seemed
The Pleiades
tumbled from your lips,
Tasting of celestial mirth.
It was the dark matter, so intimate
And buttery light of promise
That melted, mingling our souls.
Your eyes,
glowing like moons, smiled,
Showing off the craters below them.
Star dust then shone
Through the constellations of freckles
Scattered across my world,
Your fine, dazzling face.
