"Xu Minghaoooooooooo!!"

The shout of the teacher from the other class echoed through the corridors and after a few moments a certain guy walked out of that room with his hands in his pocket.

He is Xu Minghao the school's bad boy, even the teachers are scared to mess with him while he fears no one.

When he walks down it seems like the world stopped revolving, when he smiles it's brighter than the sun itself but when he's mad don't even think of going near him because only one person can talk to him when he is mad.

"Minghao?"

A female voice suddenly called his name, a smile formed on Minghao's lips before he looked for where that voice came from.

"Over here!"

His gaze shifted towards the girl who was sitting at the nearby bench while eating her sandwich.

"Kate!"

She is Kate, the only person who can talk to Minghao bluntly, the only person who can scold him, the only person that Minghao really cares for.

Kate smiled at him before he patted the space beside her, Minghao followed what she said expecting her to be the usual Kate that would be sweet but it didn't turn out what he expected.

"And what do you think you're doing?"

He pinched Minghao's ear as he winced in pain due to Kate's sudden action.

"Yah Kate what was that for?"

Minghao asked in a confused tone with a pout on his lips, which made Kate chuckle, this was a really rare sight, Minghao always had that smudge look on his face which scares everyone, but now he is acting like a kid in front of this girl.

"What did you do to that teacher again?"

She asked as she raised her brow, while Minghao scratched his nape before he began telling his story.

"You know how much I hate teachers with favoritism right?"

He looked at Kate with a smile on his face as if the thing that he was saying is something to be proud of.

"I just bluntly told the teacher that I hate her and she got mad"

Minghao proudly said with a huge grin but Kate's expression didn't change.

"You were mad because your teacher likes your classmates better?"

She asked like a detective while Minghao shrugged his head as he answered.

"Because she likes me better than my other classmates"

His answer made Kate laugh while she messed Minghao's hair and he gave him a jokingly annoyed face which made her laugh even more.

This time it was Kate's turn to tell Minghao her stories, while he was listening attentively like she was the only person in his world.

Kate had those cute and squinty eyes, and her height is really cute too, she is a really kind person, she's so calm and often very quiet, and maybe those are the reason why Minghao can't help but to stare and admire her.

"Are you even listening?"

She asked which brought him back to his senses.

"Of course, I am"

Even if he smiled Kate didn't believe what Minghao said so she flicked his forehead while Minghao glared at her.

"Kate-ssi you really enjoy hurting me"

He faked his cry while wiping his invisible tears.

That is the scenario whenever they are together, Minghao showing his side that he never shows to others, Minghao being the baby, Minghao admiring the girl in front of him, and him falling even more for her genuine smiles, only Kate can do this to Minghao.

"Because you really enjoy not listening to what I say"

She said back, they are always like this fighting with each other but you can't deny the fact that they really care for one another.

They both stared at each other, for Kate it seems like another staring contest but not for Hao, because he is slowly drowning in Kate's eyes.

"Ok fine you win"

Minghao was the first one to look away while Kate brimmed a smile of victory.

"Ok Hao, I'll get going I still have classes"

Kate said as she stood up and Minghao did the same they walked together not minding the stares from other people.

"Bye Kate!!"

Minghao stated when they were in front of her room, he even pinched her cheeks while she smiled at him while waving her hand before she bid goodbye to him.

Minghao stared at the closed door of Kate's room while he held his chest.

He might be very blunt to other people but when it comes to her, he is very careful with his words, he tells everyone what he thinks about them but he can't tell Kate what he really feels.
