*SORRY FOR GRAMMAR AND SPELLING MISTAKES.
The moment Lana woke up and came downstairs for breakfast, Lennox was there. It was as if he was living there now.
She scrunched up her nose in confusion as soon as her eyes laid on him sitting on one of the kitchen stools with a dark aura around him.
Averting her gaze to her brother who was cooking something on the stove, she tried garnering his attention by coughing.
Her brother turned around at that, his eyes brightening, "Morning sweetie."
She replied back just as sweet but her eyes were telling him something. Something along the lines of, what is your friend doing here.
Her brother only feigned ignorance. "Don't be rude Lana. Say hi to Lennox as well."
Lana widened her eyes before looking down guiltily. She had completely forgotten about her manners. Turning to the man who had been boring his deep stare towards her silently all this time, she smiled sheepishly. "Morning Lennox, nice to see you're always around."
When she realised what she just said, she immediately slapped a hand over her mouth. "I'm sorry if I sounded rude just now, I really do enjoy your presence here."
The man responded with nothing but Lana could see the corner of his lips tugged up into a smile. A smile that was only reserved for her.
"Hello princess." His deep voice resonated through the kitchen for some reason.
His words made Lana's cheeks warmed. That was the first time someone ever calls her a princess, infront of her brother at that.
Leo didn't react to it though, and Lana wondered why.
Her brother was very protective over her to the point of not allowing her to be friends with the opposite gender. She didn't mind it because she never liked boys anyways.
But to have him being all silent when Lennox called her princess? That was weird but she didn't pay it no mind.
Lennox gestured for her to sit beside him and Lana complied obediently. He appeared calm on the outside but internally, he was restraining himself.
His princess listens to him very well and he f*cking loved that.
He just needs her to grow comfortable with him before he starts making his move. Now, he just had to be patient.
Standing up from the stool he had been sitting on, he leaned down to whisper in Lana's ears. "I have to go now, goodbye princess."
With her eyes twinkling so brightly and cheeks reddening so beautifully, Lennox thought how in the f*cking world did he get so lucky to have her in his grasp once again.
Lana flushed even more when the man tucked a strand of hair over her ear while staring at her intensely.
Straightening his back, he walked out of the kitchen with an impassive look on his face, barely sparing Leo a glance.
Lana furrowed her brows at the interaction and turned to face her brother in hopes he would explain, what just happened.
Her brother though, acted as if Lennox wasn't just there, sitting in the same room as them.
Chuckling, Leo ruffled her hair playfully, "What's with the face sweetheart?"
Sliding a plate filled with bacon and eggs infront of her, Lana's earlier thoughts were long forgotten as her stomach grumbled.
Then he went around the kitchen counter and sat across of her.
Feeling delighted with the delicious sight infront of her, Lana started to dig in.
Missing the relieved look on her brother's face.
Leo could feel his eyebrows twitching with the thought of his friend but the smile never leave his face as he watched her eat. His eyes softened at the sight before shutting his eyes forcefully.
Why the f*ck did he had to come back?
