(dr. martel appears, bloodshot eyes could be seen through his glasses as he zoned out for a few seconds, staring at his desk)
"the date is march 31st, 2028... and we began test subject number 4's treatment january 1st..."
(dr. martel's under eye circles were evident as he reached forward to grab his cheap coffee he bought in the early am hours at a convenient store)
"test subject 4... jung hoseok.... has to be the most difficult so far. he's extremely touchy, with every sort of physical contact or with any more injections something goes wrong; whether his heart stops, the computers start to malfunction or he starts to seize. so, we've decided to just leave ts 4 alone for the time being, and let the single injection do its work..."
(he placed his empty coffee cup on the desk before pulling up live security footage of the lab, nine different boxes showing various angles and showing the four boys in their tanks; unmoving and pale... he was about to end the entry until he saw a small, very small figure move below the tanks. he then identified who the child was and rushed out of his chair, forgetting to end the entry.
he could be seen bolting through the lab door on the security cameras, test subject 1, jeon jungkook spun around on his heel making eye contact with dr. martel)
"jungkook? what are you doing?"
(dr. martel's low quality sounding voice through the monitors spoke calmly to the three year old who was standing below yoongi's tank, the little boy looking back to his friend without a word, not that he knew much words to begin with)
"c'mon... we have to get you back to dr. mandeville."
(jungkook didn't fight with dr. martel and allowed the man to pick him up as he had gotten comfortable by now, having spent a third of year in the containment; and he would spend a couple more years -awake that is- before he'd begin his experiment when he turned 5, along with test subject 2, taehyung, who still had a year before he turned 5)
"is taehyung sleeping?"
(jungkook nodded, but his little brain knew taehyung was wandering about the halls with their two secret friends who liked to play in the shadows...)
ten minutes later_

(the computer suddenly glitched, and in a split second two boys pranced around the large office, quietly giggling to themselves as they spotted the computer camera)

(one of the boys spoke in complete nonsense, the words incomprehensible before the computers voice suddenly sounded in a broken way)
