Damn You, Sorcery

Elektra's POV 

I got a spare towel from my kitchen and went back to the kittens.

Why the hell aren't they there ?!

I looked around frantically and found them in front my fireplace meowing to each other. '' At least they didn't stray far. '' I mumbled to myself. I walked towards them and sat down crosslegged.

'' Alright, Let me dry you up and then I can leave you guys alone. '' I said as I held up the towel. All 3 of them stared at me funny. I just gave them a straight face.

'' You know, I can do well without the funny looks. If I leave you wet, there's a possibility you can get sick. '' I explained, flailing the towel left and right.

I took the towel and went towards the taller cat, the one that looks all girly and fancy but as I went close, it started to growl and expose its claws.

' That's strange. Those claws looks extra long than a regular cat's own. '

But nonetheless, This is where I started to get irritated.

'' You know what, you can growl and hiss all you want but I need to dry you. As said before, in the morning, you don't have to deal with me because you can leave. Just please, just this once. '' I pleaded.

I saw all of the cats looks at each other then look back at me. Then the taller cat walked to me  slowly and pawed the towel.

'' Finally. '' I mumbled. 

I rubbed the cat down with the towel and made sure to get its tail, legs, and chest. I scrubbed its head softly and was mindful of its flexible ears. " Alright, one down, two to go. '' I said, as I let the cat go and looked at the second tallest.

I don't know about you guys, but this cat is just looking at me with such fury, I just might combust into flames if it keeps glaring at me like that.

'' Why are you glaring at me like that. It's like you already despise me even though you just met me. '' I questioned. The second cat hissed and also exposed its claws, not as long as the first one but they're really sharp looking.

In my peripheral vision, I swore I just saw the first cat rolling its eyes. Who knew kittens had sassiness ? ( LOL teehee xD )

'' Listen, you're acting as if I'm gonna wrap you in a towel and relentlessly smash your tiny kitten body against the edge of my table and- '' I stopped and peeked at the kittens only to find the second one staring at me, eyes bigger than globes while slightly backing away.

'' Great, I just scared a cat.... Kitty, look lemme dry you and I can leave you alone, cappeach ? ''

The black and green kitten gave me a nasty look but came up to me anyway. It walked to me, turned around so its back is facing me, and sat down. 

I giggled at its cute yet very rude action. '' You're so cruel. '' I said smiling as I finally managed to make physical contact with it. Once I  finished drying it, the kitten literally ran out of its spot and went with the other one.

'' Well Damn, at least I know I'm not very well liked. '' I said, raising an eyebrow at the sudden action. Anyway, I went towards the last kitten to wipe it off.

I stared at it for a few seconds.

Why ?

Because I was well expecting for this one to retaliate like the last two.
