"well I had a past" he smiled at her while she went all serious suddenly. "But after that I had promised myself that I will never love anyone. If I really feel she is the one then I will marry her directly."

"Not all marriages succeed" she replied looking directly into his eyes. "And so does the relationship. But trust me, things which are meant to be will always be" Aditi gave an warm smile to the starring imam. She was used to his stares now.

"Tara tha uska naam. We used to be besties in college days. MBA ki waqt. And then I developed feelings for her but failed to exhibit at the right time. As the result usko kisi aur pasand agaya and now she is an business women come wifey" he said in a single go. Aditi blinked at him not being able to take this shocking confession.

"And I decided then that if I love someone I will do everything I can to exhibit my feelings for her ASAP" he said confidently.

I should confess before it gets too late.

Aditi couldn't believe her ears.

The meaning of his confession is that he is in love with me. But why me.

She looked at Zain with a shocking face while the smile vanished from his face.

"Now u r scaring me. U should really say what I said yesterday night" he somewhere felt that he must have blabbered something or other. But what was his question, courtesy to his memory line when he gets drunk.

"Nothing" she forced to behave normal as she got up following him. She took of his jacket while he dusted her shawl.

"Thanks" she mumbled as she handled the jacket while zain was returning her shawl.

"I hope u r ok" he asked nervously seeing her straight face.

"I am" she smiled blinking her tears. "It's the cold breeze" she says as she rubbed her eyes. Zain felt bad for not being able to recall exactly what happened.

"Have I mentioned Tara anywhere before" he asked for confirmation.

"Nope" she replied confidently. Her eyes said it all. And he had a strong belief that she is lying.

Zain ruffled his hairs nervously as he saw Aditi leaving the beach. It was 10:30 now.

What the hell did I actually blabber to her.I hope I didn't say anything confidential.

He ran immediately to meet her pace. She was faster now.

"Ummmmm....let me book the taxi for u" he took out his phone immediately.

"No use Zain. No taxi available" Aditi showed her phone as she frowned. He sighed.

"It's late naa. That's why" he nodded left and right feeling bad for not having an car now.

"Now what" she asked confusingly finding no solid way to go home.

"If u don't mind I can suggest something" he said bit nervous of how she may react.

"Yup" she said looking at his face directly crossing her hands near her chest in attention to what he may say.

"Well....how about metro, we still have time for last train and the station is in walkable distance" he suggested.

"Okay" she mumbled as she had no option left.

"Then this way pls" he guided her as she followed. After few silent steps they reached the station. Zain got the tickets for two and they took the next arriving train. It was Crowded as usual and they didn't get any seats.

Aditi stood near the poll uncomfortably due to the rush and noticing it Zain stood behind her sandwiching her in-between him and the poll. He placed both his hands on the either side of her as they stood there.

" Now let me go home. U take train to reach ur's" Aditi said and Zain waved her bye to take tickets for himself.

When he turned again to see her he noticed a couple of boys oggling at her and following her as she passed the gate. Tensed Zain rushed towards her dropping the plan of fetching tickets.

"Kya hua" she asked seeing him walking besides her. Zain meanwhile was busy in glaring at the boys. She turns back to see whom he is looking about.

"Is everything fine" she asked finding no one there.

"Yeah" He smiled. "Come let me drop u home" she felt strange at his behavior.

"It's 5 minutes walkable distance and I will manage. U will miss ur train zain" Aditi said confused at his sudden change in the plan.

"Never mind" he ignored her complaints and he didn't want to leave her alone like that.

"Are u planning for another stay"she asked teasingly while he glared at her.

"What if I say yes" he replied making her completely startled with what she heard. All the thoughts came back to her what he shared.

Does he really have any feeling for me. Am I really ready for this.
