"Shit!" I exclaimed. Lucas pushed me off the bed towards my suitcase. I made a fairly loud thunking noise as I hit the ground. "Ow! Lucas!"
"Quick get up!" He said. I quickly got up and resumed my packing.
"Hey guys. How long was I asleep for?" Roger said peeking his head in. He was shirtless, as per usual, wearing only his pyjama bottoms. His voice was deep, and his accent thick from his nap.
"Only two hours. How are you feeling?" Lucas asked him.
"Much better. If I can get some food in me, then I'll be good to go for the hike. Mahira is still sleeping though, not sure how long she'll be." Roger replied.
"There's lots of food downstairs. Help yourself!" I said.
"I will. Did you guys hear a loud noise a few moments ago?" Roger asked.
I looked at Lucas. Lucas looked back at me. "Nope, didn't hear anything." He said.
Ethan and Lauren suddenly came running up the stairs. "Are you guys okay? We heard a crashing noise!"
"It didn't come from in here, don't you think we would've heard it? Maybe you should check on Mahira." I shrugged. Roger went to check on her, Ethan and Lauren went back downstairs.
I let out a breath. "That was close. But jesus Lucas that hurt!" I whispered, rubbing my right shoulder. "That's my foosball arm!" I threw a pillow at him.
"Sorry! Now you know how I felt this morning!" Lucas said, holding up his hands in his defense.
