[RE-WRITTEN/EDITED(?)]

-THE NEXT FEW MONTHS, 3RD PERSON P.O.V-

Yoongi looked at his bestfriend from afar, sighing.

Jimin had avoided him and Jiyeon like the plague for the past months, he tried going to his house but he wouldn't open the door. Texting? He also tried that, but he'd just be left on read or just simply left unread.

He missed Jimin, how his eyes would turn into small crescents when he smiled, how his small fingers would play with the taller's hair every so often, the way Jimin sounded so full of life when he laughed, he missed it all.

As he stared at Jimin, he noticed the tired look in the younger's eyes. His body was so much thinner now, and the once bright aura that surrounded him had dimmed. Jimin looked clinically depressed. Was this all his fault? He didn't know.

He mustered up the courage and once again tried talking to Jimin, but then Taehyung intervened.

"He doesn't feel like talking right now, hyung. You should try some other time. Can i speak to you in private, by the way? You can go on to the room by yourself for today, Jiminie. I just have to talk to hyung, okay?" The redhead said, as the shorter shrugged and walked away.

"Alright hyung- you gotta fix this. Remember a few months ago when you told Jimin about you and Jiyeon?"

"How did you know about tha-"

"NOW IS NOT THE TIME FOR QUESTIONS. Anyhow, Jimin came to me that day, he was crying. I've never ever seen him look so broken. I asked him what was wrong but all i heard was 'broke' and 'promise.' First i didn't get him but as the days passed i realized. You broke the only promise you both made to each other, hyung. The promise Jimin took to heart and kept it carved into his mind for years. And now he cries because of it. You need to fix this, hyung. Jimin might do something crazy. And i hate seeing him looking like this. Please. I want the old Jiminie back..."

Yoongi stayed silent in shock, so that's what he was forgetting! Shit, he screwed up big time. Taehyung was right. He needed to fix this. At once. He silently nodded, when the bell rang both him and Taehyung walked to Math class.

He felt extremely guilty. So guilty because he broke his Jiminie's heart. He stared at the boy's back, the guilt getting stronger by the minute.

"Yoonie? You okay....?" He was brought back into reality when he heard Jiyeon's voice, looking at her and forcing a smile on his face.

"Uh yeah i'm- i'm fine, Jagiya. Don't worry okay?" He said, kissing the girl's cheek.

"Mr. Min. Ms. Han. Please pay attention." Ms. Choi called out. Making the two nod and apologize before class continued.

-WITH JIMIN-

The boy sat there, writing in his notebook, thinking.

He wanted Yoongi to be happier, because the older deserved it. Jimin knew he wasn't a match for Jiyeon, because even if they didn't know each other much her and Yoongi both had much more similarities than they ever did.

Jimin's mind was slowly sent into a dark place, shadows followed him wherever he went, a sinister smile on their faces as they whispered things into his ear, haunting him.

It was a promise he had cherished so much. Not even once had he have the thought Yoongi would break it. Yoongi wasn't the type to forget things, especially promises, until now.

He then realized he was in the way of Yoongi being truly happy, so he set up his last moments, he wrote a song and recorded it, putting it into a CD along with a note. He was planning to tuck it inside one of Yoongi's notebooks. Hoping that when the older would see and listen to it, he would always remember his Jiminie.

He wrote a letter to every single one of his friends, and he wrote one for Jiyeon, too.

As soon as the bell rang, his day carried on.

-LUNCH-

The brunette had to make sure no one was in the hallway, a few students passing here and there but it didn't matter. He made it to each of his friends' lockers and slipped the notes he made inside. After that he put Jiyeon's letter inside her locker too. Then last but not the least, Yoongi's locker was the one he visited last.

He opened the locker using the combination that the older had given him, and slipped the CD with it's labeled case inside and the final note. Satisfied, he bitterly smiled to himself.

I'm sorry guys.

I really am.

But I'm only a burden to all of you.

You all deserve to be happy, i want you all to be.

Even if it means i don't have to be in your lives anymore.

He sighed, thinking as he went upstairs to the school rooftop.

He was planning to end it right there and right now, he stood at the edge. Looking at the scenery around him, taking a deep breath of the fresh air in Seoul for the last time.

Someday,

Somewhere,

Somehow,

I hope we'll all get to meet again.

I hope we all get the happiness each of us deserve.

I promise.

I'll see you all again.

He opened his arms smiling to himself, starting to lean forward when all of a sudden the door to the rooftop swung open.

"JIMIN!"
