Ella's P.O.V
------------------------------
I wriggled my way through the crowd moments after my best friend was out of sight. My heart was roaring with anger, my eyes threatening to burn with tears, but I couldn't, not yet anyway. I needed to find Jace. I needed to explain. I felt horrendous at the thought of him thinking badly of me. I seethed with anger and pain as I approached the front doors of the trashy club, which I planned to never set foot in again.
"Jace ..." I whimpered, my eyes lingered his numb body then turned away through pure shame. I sat down next to him on the cold stone, pulling my legs to my chest, begging my heart not to cry out , and burst into tears. He held his head in his hands and didn't look at me, didn't speak to me just held a grimace onto his face.
"What happened." He muttered, not looking up, his tone was icy and flat, this was a warning to choose my next words very carefully.
"He came onto me. I swear I tried to get him off me I did! He was just so much stronger than me. Sorry doesn't even describe how I feel right now." I broke down there and then, sitting in the same position as him as tears fought there way down my pale cheeks.
He pulled me into his lap like a baby, which just made me cry even harder. He wrapped his arms around me, holding me close to his slightly oversized t-shirt. We sat there in each other's arms until after I stopped bawling, security asked us to move.
We stumbled are way home in the dark, after we'd patrolled the area looking for Chloe but checking my phone after half an hour of panicking, realising she'd gone home hours ago.
We stood hand in hand under the lamplight outside of my front garden as we exchanged a short but sweet kiss goodnight and a forgiving smile.
It was 11 o'clock in the morning when I begin to feel the aftermath from the nighty before. My head pounded as I checked the time on my phone and my messages.
I had 5 missed phone calls and two texts from Chloe as well as a goodnight text from Jace from when I fell asleep last night.
I stumbled through Chloe's rather frantic message. She hurried me along asking me to be at her house asap, that was at 6 this morning. Ah well she knew I was never up that early on a Saturday.
I pulled down the covers on my double bed and hurled myself onto our black carpet. My brothers bed was warily empty, he'd only been away from me for a short period of time before. The next two weeks where going to be scarily lonely.
I hurried myself out of bed and to get dressed and was amazingly out of the house by half 11. I caught the bus and stood outside Chloe's grand 3-storey cute cottage by 10 to 12. I knocked on the wooden door expecting my best friend to answer but instead her mother greeted me.
"Good morning Ella! Well isn't this a bit early in the morning for you! I wasn't expecting you for a few more hours yet!" she smiled at me as I laughed with her.
"Anyway dear, do come in Chloe's upstairs!" she called as I began hurtling up the first flight of stairs then climbing the next to her amazing room.
"Good morning!" I declared making my grand entrance to find my best friend sitting on the edge of her bed.
"Thank god you're finally here where've you been!" she declared closing the door behind me.
"In bed!" I laughed collapsing into her bed.
"Ella. What the hell happened last night ?" She glared at me. Oh god, I don't want to do this again.
"Chloe I swear Nick came on to me!" I cried begging for her forgiveness.
"Shut up Ella I'm not on about that I know. I'm on about this!" she pulled down the collar on her shirt and moved her hair out of the way of her neck revealing a dark black pattern on her tanned skin.
"You got a tattoo!" I laughed gawping at her, I never thought Chloe would ever get a tattoo, she's just not that type of person.
"Looks like it ? But I don't even remember getting it! My mum is going to slaughter me!" she looked like she was about to burst into tears. So I did the instinctive thin and wrapped my arms around her trying to reassure her.
"Look it's fine, we will just go get it removed, don't worry Im sure it doesn't cost that much." I grinned picking up her jacket and dragging her by the hand out of the house and down to the bus stop. Last night was strange and horrid, I want to do everything I can to remove the evidence of it forever.
